FYI all, in speaking with my insurance provider, I was told that they'd be dropping insurance rates on Teslas 30-40% in the next month. If you're getting a car sometime around the end of 21Q4 this may be something to look into if you're unhappy with your rate. I'm with Farmers Insurance.

Received my VIN this morning. Was becoming a frustrating ordeal being one of the oldest order dates left in the US that I knew of. In the end, got my VIN 69 days after ordering, nice right? Almost worth it having to wait extra 😂. EDD now 08/28-09/03. Will post final EDD plot after receipt of car.

There was a significant amount of latency between when I ordered from the shop and when I received my items. One item even came way later and they all came separately. I don't know the logic or reasoning of it. I also don't recall when I was charged but likely immediately. Can't help you with a...

I heard manufacturing order is White, Blue/SMS, Black/Red. Others will know better, but I think LR then P. I saw white interior delivered before black this quarter too.

Only backlog worse than MSM appears to be red. Haven't heard of any red VINs, but don't see many red orders on here.

My biggest regret was not ordering sooner. Foolish me thought there was a chance incentives came back for Tesla. Should have known better. Could've been done with squirt-squish-boom-fart by now...

06/10 order here, pickup STL. EDD currently 09/19 - 09/30. MSM/Black/Aero/No FSD. Was at the STL store today. Was told they haven't received/delivered any M3s yet this quarter. Some people who ordered the latter half of May are still waiting. That being said, someone with the same build as me...

Interesting. I ordered 6/10 and am in the midwest also (STL). Still no VIN here and an EDD of Sept. Exact same build as yours. Congrats!

Guessing we'll be scheduled a delivery time around the same day then. At one point my EDD was late June, and just yesterday it was into November. So all the talk here about people who ordered in early June getting VINs has me rather optimistic.

When did you order? STL here as well, ordered 06/10 and sitting at 09/03-09/23.
