ended up replacing the HEPA filter (bioweapon) and it seems to be better for now.

My car is 2 years old and they recommend to replace the hepa filter so took it in and complained about the smell. It appears the housing and seal has been updated. Will update after a rain and let y’all know.

I got the kit from CPR Tesla repair - I did it twice (2 bottles of evaporator cleaner) it still smells very bad. I have another service appointment for Black Friday. wondering if I should have them replace the Bioweapon filter. Getting close to wanted to get rid of the car the smell is so bad...

I had for the past 6-9 months had a nasty smell come out the HVAC when its raining. it lasts for just a couple minutes and goes away but it's awful. Tesla replaced the cabin filter but it made no difference. anyone else run into this?

These are the stock tempest wheels so no idea. Was just curious if anyone else had tried it. Guess I could easily enough.

I wouldn’t mind paying a lesser fee, say 500, but 2000 for 8GB more of ram is pretty ludicrous. I would much rather have free but I think that’s more reasonable.

I just picked up our Y, and created a service ticket. They have the estimate of $1300, but are also adding $172 in labor.. I was under the impression labor was included?

Getting the latest processor and current software stack I think is worth it if you plan on keeping it a while.

Applied for loan 1/16, saw pre-approval 1/17, applied for membership 1/17, membership completed 1/24, loan completed 1/25. I did bug the *sugar* out of them though. Got all my documents done as quickly as I could most of them on 1/19.

I can finally say the process with Tower is complete... I called my loan officer first thing this morning (he declined to answer the past 7 days) and was able to get a picture of the check and tracking number over to Tesla, just in time for pickup tomorrow.

I had to call to get mine. I got it after my trade in was finalized and told them how I was paying.

I’m down to the wire. I actually spoke to the loan officer this morning and he was like I think we can get it done. So we will see!

My deadline is tomorrow for them to send a check. I’m not sure Tesla would move the date for me. Anyone had luck with that? I’m already locked in on everything and don’t want another car (assuming this one doesn’t have issues) 😂

they told me they were just getting to members who applied on 1/17. so I guess 3 more days and then they will reach out to you :)

More progress. Signed and completed membership application. Now waiting to hear back from loan people.

I did get an email to send photos of identification. Probably another 7 days to get my account created at this point.

I called and was on hold for an hour and didn't get anywhere. Still waiting on account creation. I applied for Loan on 1/16, and membership 1/17. Got everything done on my end, just waiting on someone to call me....

what is the POA? I don’t have a document. They have my insurance and MPVA already. Literally waiting on them.

I spoke with someone earlier, I had submitted to create an account 2 days ago and she said it would be Tuesday at the earlier. I am set to pick up the car next Thursday so likely will have to go back to Tesla financing and refinance later.

the funny thing is we are trading in an XC40 recharge for a Model Y, and the Y definitely sits up higher, at least in the seating position.
