Hey everyone! I had my pickup today! I had a touchless pickup and the whole thing took only 10 minutes. I couldn’t find any issues on the car at all, but I’m also not very picky :). Car is beautiful and drives great. 96 days from order to pickup. A quick timeline leading up to VIN. EDD on 8/21...

Here it is folks! I had touchless pickup and was in and out in about 10 minutes. It went super super smooth. Car looks pretty much flawless to me! Autopilot was ready to use about 10 minutes into my 45 minute drive back home.

Just call the delivery center. They will make you an appointment.

I got a text/email same day, but you can also call the number under or VIN or call your local delivery center and they will set up an appointment for you.

Wooo! It‘s usually about 3-5 business days from what I’ve seen. So that’s about right. I got my VIN late Sunday night and am picking up Thursday in SLC.

On 8/21 my EDD was 8/21-9/3. On 8/22 EDD switched to October and then I got my VIN.

My EDD did that right before I got my VIN so maybe you'll get yours soon! I hope so you deserve it.

We are referring to just MYLR. MYPs of any color come in about 3-5 weeks.

The farther you are from fremont the longer it takes. I would assume for you it would be from 1-2 weeks. If you have a VIN, you can call the delivery specialist though and they will tell you.

No you are right, seems that MSMs tend to take longer than the average time. Glad to see a bunch of us getting VINs the today. Hopefully it continues for a bit.

Anddd the financing was pretty much instantly approved so that answers that question.

Called my local sales center today and was able to set delivery for Thursday @ 11am! They were also easily able to switch me over from Cash to Tesla Financing and Trade-in. I've filled out all the info so we'll see how quickly it all gets approved. Not sure if I'll actually trade in my car with...

Scheduled mine for 11am Thursday! I'm going to call on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning to see if they get the car any earlier like with @Andy2003. I'm much closer though, so I could theoretically go in whenever to pick it up. Moab requires a bit more planning lol.

Since my new EDD starts today I wonder if they already have my car? I’ll call them as soon as they open 😄

Turns out is was a good sign! Woke up to a VIN this morning 254XXX. I’m so excited.

WOKE UP TO AN EMAIL AND A VIN THIS MORNING! VIN 254XXX NEW EDD: 823/-8/28 EDD right before: It had been 8/21-9/3 all last week but on Sunday it switch to October Its happeninggggg!!!

Yes I am very pleased to discover this. I’ve been really sad lately about not getting the darker 20”. But now that I have this info I think I’ll just get them powder coated in black and enjoy my smoother ride :)

Question for the group: What do the 19” Gemini wheels look like. On the Model Y order page and my account page they look like the first photo. But in people’s posts and in the Tesla shop they look like the second photo. So which is it?

Well folks, was really hoping to wake up to a VIN this morning. Woke up to an October EDD instead 😳. Really hoping this is just a glitch like sometimes happens on Sunday. Day 93.

Ive never seen anybody go inside the window before. Not sure why it’s happening for us Utah folks. Seems like a glitch to me. So far the VINs seem To get assigned right before transport. So usually you’ll receive a VIN and then take delivery in about 3-5 days.

Yeah the were a couple LR MSMs a few weeks ago. I didn’t see any before or any since. I definitely feel like we’re due some MSMs.

Same EDD and still no update as well. Strange since others have received an update this morning. I’ve never made it to an actual EDD day before 🤔

Weird. We have the same order and similar order dates and neither of us got an EDD update today. Mine is especially weird since that means my EDD range starts with tomorrow. Who thinks they’ll call me tomorrow and say “Guess what come pick it up today!” 😂

I understand the logistics I just wish they would throw a car on a truck for me ya know :/. It’s hard to see late June orders getting cars while my trade in goes down in value.

Last couple times this happened, everyone got an EDD update around 11-12 PST.

I think the May order should get VINs before EoQ push. Why should we have to wait :(. We ordered last quarter.

Mine hasn’t updated yet either. Really wish they’d start giving some West Coast May orders some VINs.

Nah don't worry about these guys. You are perfectly fine to vent. I think everyone needs to be kinder to each other. Tesla is just a company, but the people on this forum are real people.

I think the point of the forum is to give people a place to share their story/wait time. It is ok to be frustrated by the wait, and this is a perfectly fine place to vent. If you are annoyed by the venting or "don't care" then you are free to leave the forum. What's really not ok is seeing...

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if we got them around the same time. Or if you got yours first. Your order date is only 6 days after mine and according to my SA, white cars deliver faster. But who knows.
