Finally got a VIN on a random refresh! VIN 263. EDD just moved to September 13-17. Pumped.

Day 97 still holding an EDD of September 21-30. Hoping to hear something this week.

EDD changed last night from end of October to middle of November now September 21-30. Already 92 days of waiting. Hopeful to actually get a car in September.

EDDs don't cross quarters. So I would not read into it.

Back to Q4. Not surprised at this point. EDD now October 19 - November 08. 88 days down. 45 days to go?

I had the same conversation with my SA.

Surprised to have my EDD update to September 14-29 just now. Still in the mindset that I will be getting it in Q4 but would happily take it in September.

Generic month EDDs without a range seem to be placeholders. Otherwise there does not seem to be a clear logic to EDDs. Mine recently changed to the November for a 6/8 order. 🤷‍♂️

November 10 delivery would mean I am only half way after waiting 2.5 months. Called SA to get some clarification. They were nice but could not tell me if I was going to get a car in September, October, or November. Tesla's process for EDD is total bullshit and my patience is thinning :mad:.

Mine was September 15/16 to 30 for the past month. Just changed this morning to November 10-30. This is getting absurd.

There does not seem to be any clear rhyme or reason to it all. There are still May orders waiting while people who ordered 2 months later are getting VINs. Just keep the VINs coming!

At this point you would be lucky to get a LR by the end of September. Some May and most early June orders have EDDs at the end of September. Good chance a good number of June orders in the east coast will end up getting October deliveries.

Maybe the SAs get the VIN assignments and determine when to release them to the buyer. Seems like there is a lot of variation with when people are getting notified.

EDD shows up under "my car" while you are waiting for it to be approved.

Seems like it is a lot more common for updates to happen throughout the day compared to only in the AM. I get the feeling Tesla is doing this on purpose as a random reinforcement!

I tried using distil.io but the free version does not allow for push notifications and is limited to 30 emails a month. I found this to be limiting with the number of changes that can occur and it also could not check the source code for a VIN match. This lead me to write a python program to...

Besides Oktoberfest my EDD has been the end of September for the past 2 weeks and the dates have not changed. Feel like this is an EOQ placeholder and with me being on the East coast this will likely turn into October. Hopefully the VINs pickup in the next couple week!

This happens most days between 7am and 8am eastern time. Usually if the EDD is going to update it is right afterwards but not always.

Man I ordered about a month after you and have the same EDD. I am sure you are annoyed with people having the same EDD who ordered 2 months after you! Hope your VIN comes soon. With the way #teamblue deliveries have been going I am under the impression I won't get a delivery until October.

Love your setup! I was lucky enough to have my main panel in the garage. Took $50 and 10 minutes to cut out some drywall and wire it up.

Same boat as you. Worried if we do not get a VIN by the first week of September that we will be looking at EOQ. Since we are on the east coast there is a good chance if that happens we get bumped to Q4.

Ordered a month before you and EDD has been stuck at 9/13-9/30 for the last 5 days or so. #teamblue Anyone have issues with WC shipping? Mine was supposed to be delivered this past weekend but never even got to FedEx. Tesla has not responded to my email.

I have had the same experience with EDDs. Seems like we are in the same boat.
