I think you are overestimating Tesla's organization. I think the system they use has serious flaws and they have not had the time to fix it. It is a combo of a flawed system and randomness.

I have had the exact same experience in Lake Forest. When I went in to ask a question I was a couple of times "why did you come in"? Well, if you answered your emails or your phone I wouldn't have to.

I would just keep your order as is and cancel his order. You will lose the $100 either way. Maybe get your or some Sales Advisor on the phone or better yet, in person and see what the best plan is.
