Apparently there was a problem with a “seal” on the break that was making the noise. It was fixed (and the pads changed out) and it’s completely gone now.

No, unfortunately not. I’m taking it in again soon. I have tried hard breaking a bunch to try and clear up whatever break pad repeated issue that might be there but it goes away for a few minutes and comes back. No idea what the problem is.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like metal on metal (I uploaded a video in my first post with the sound). I was worried it could be axel/hub related but break burnishing does temporarily fix it which is why I wasn’t convinced.

They put it on a 60amp circuit and I believe the Tesla gen 3 draws 48 amps. Mine charges at around 40-42 miles/hr Here’s a photo of the completed install. I also did a whole home surge protector

+1 for Kapital electric. I used them to install my wall charger a couple months back (in Naperville). Very similar/positive experience to you. They came in a bit cheaper than the others I had out to quote as well.

I have a very similar opinion. The bumps on the 19’s are much better then the 21’s. I haven’t noticed much of a range difference either. I’m going to sell the Ubers, I think. Don’t think there is a need to switch back.

Woke up this morning to a VIN!! Ordered on 6/15, Chicagoland, white/black long range with tow, inductions and no FSD. It’s being delivered on 9/18.

If it came with the inductions and nothing else, I would be fine with paying the same price. It actually costs me more in time/money to swap out the uber turbines. The main turn off on the MYP to me is the wheels.
