I'm not a big fan of using margin (with all its strings attached) but instead I use my HELOC. That way even if the SP still go down I'm never worried to have a margin call. The monthly interest simply piles on and I pay it back later when I get more money.

There was a brief period that Tesla reverted to use Intel for their Model Y due to lack of AMD chips, around F376XXX to F380XXX. Not sure if it was for all Model Ys or only Performance. Mine was a Performance. Seems F380XXX and higher are all Ryzen so you should be good. If it matters a lot to...

Ordered on Oct 26. Got my VIN around February 14 (sadly no love for that specific VIN :D ).

I released my VIN 2 weeks ago (got F380XXX with Intel and I wanted a Ryzen+heated wipers..) and the Hold was removed yesterday. For now no new VIN, only this message : Estimated Delivery: TBD Delivery timing will be available soon

My F3802XX was Intel as well.

I had no problem to release my assigned VIN and put my order on hold even if I passed the 90 days (OD Oct. 26). Weird... Actually I see my Model Y just appeared in inventory 2 days after I released the VIN.

I also had a NF380 and it was Intel (white/white, tow, FSD). I released the VIN yesterday. Will wait at least a week before removing the hold to be sure I don't get another VIN in the NF376-381 batch.

There was no possibility to put your order on hold for like 1-2 weeks? Mine is on hold until March 1st. Let's hope I get a newer batch of VIN then..

I didn't have a SA assigned either, I simply replied to the SMS from Tesla that I received last October when I ordered. It says reply and a Tesla Advisor will get back to you.

No issue to refuse the VIN. The advisor told I'll get back to the end of the queue so I might have to wait a few months for a new delivery date. I wasn't that much in a hurry so I'm fine to take that risk. If my EDD is something in fall or later I guess I'll cancel and simply wait the Cybertruck...

Some squeaky sound came back (now at 43000km) so I scheduled an appointment at the Service Center. Got a reseal of the FUCA with urethane + they replaced the lower lateral link. Same as @phoglite they checked some electrical insulation and found no issue. Let's hope this squeaky sound is gone...

My original limit order was at 1025$ but I changed it for 1035$ like an hour ago. I thought I missed my chance for 1025$ but seems I was a little too impatient :oops: Anyway in the long term, 1025, 1035... Doesn't matter at all, it's still super cheap 😎
