Hopefully they bring in LFP soon. From what I've read, the advantages of being able to charge to 100% regularly is pretty amazing. And the cold weather penalty is not even 10% under most conditions.
Any chance that the Model S brings in an LFP battery soon? Is it worth holding out for that due to the better battery? I value charging to 100% regularly.
Love it! I was going to buy the Plaid MS, but now I think I'll hold off another 20 months until the Roadster is ready. It'll be a MUCH better car overall than the MS I suspect.
Agreed. The SR+ is the best value, if you care about range on a single charge, and if you want to save $5,000. Otherwise, you're just buying into Tesla's marketing on their so called "long range" model 3 lol.
It means that the SR+ gets better mileage on a single charge than the LR or P. Since the LR and P have two motors, you can't go as far on a charge as the SR+, in the real world. This has been proven in real world tests online.
Agreed. Tesla is terrible to work with to get a deposit refund. I have previously disputed the charge with my credit card company, and they did a chargeback from Tesla.
Yes, it's a deposit, not an ordering fee. Anyone who says it's an ordering fee is mistaken, as most people in this thread have confirmed. It doesn't matter if it's Canada or the United States. Plenty of people in the US here and on Reddit have confirmed that it will be applied to offset their...
I've heard rumours that production of the Model X and S are being deliberately slowed, and potentially phased out. Tesla doesn't need those products anymore, and that they make most of their money on the Model 3 and Model Y, and the new Model 2 will be the company's future.
