    Still hate v11

“…you will have some disenfranchised customers - who can quickly turn from Tesla promoters to Tesla detractors. Trust is easily destroyed and very, very hard to earn back.” Amen.

    Supercharger - Novato, CA (LIVE 28 Mar 2020, 20 V2 stalls)

Yep, I’m that Les Mann. Bought a P85 Model S in 2013, and a Model 3 in 2018. The 3 is my daily driver, the S is the wife’s. What astonishing vehicles! Wife has also reserved a C’truck.

    Supercharger - Novato, CA (LIVE 28 Mar 2020, 20 V2 stalls)

I stopped by last week & spoke to the contractor’s foreman as they were cleaning up for the day. He said they had just completed laying the whole conduit for PG&E, backfilling & repacking the trench, now just waiting for PG&E to pull the cable, which he guessed would be done in a week or two...

Vendor Open Source DIY Model 3 Console Wrap Template

Thanks, drkaye. That.link works. Great solution. I’ve done the Kenriko console wrap and love it. I’d buy these in a second if they were available, I don’t need any other door wraps, just the switch tags. Otherwise, I’m willing to buy a minimum amount of yellow material and use Kenriko’s reddit...

    Auto lane change not working

From page 70 of the owner’s manual: “Warning: Auto Lane Change is designed to be used only when driving on restricted-access highways (i.e. with on- ramps and off-ramps). “ And: “Auto Lane Change is designed for use on restricted-access highways with visible lane markings and under relatively...

Supercharger - Petaluma, CA (EXPANDED Jun 2018, now 20 V2 stalls)

Just stopped by to see what's up. No signs of problems, 3 cars charging, apparently at full power, no others present. Still shows as "reduced power" on nav, no idea if anything is actually amiss. New model X just started charging @ 90KW with about 50% SOC.

Fobo Tire Pressure monitor for smart phones

I have had no problems during the month or so I've had the Fobo sensors on my P85 with 19s set at 45psi cold. Might be a good question to raise with Fobo for a definitive answer. BTW, I can now confirm, after several hours of testing, that there have been no instances of bluetooth...

Fobo Tire Pressure monitor for smart phones

I am happy to report my test results: 1. Upgraded Tesla to 6.2, left iPhone on IOS 8.2. No change, bluetooth still skipping every few minutes. 2 Upgraded iPhone to 8.3 (still on Tesla 6.2), no more skipping! Caveat: I have only listened for about an hour, intermittently, so will continue...

Fobo Tire Pressure monitor for smart phones

Test results for iPhone 6 & iPhone 5: As I mentioned in previous post, I have been having bad skipping/stuttering on my iPhone 6 listening through bluetooth with Fobo sensors on my Model S. Today I loaded & reactivated the Fobo Tire app on my previous iPhone 5 and listened to a podcast that had...

Supercharger - Petaluma, CA (EXPANDED Jun 2018, now 20 V2 stalls)

Close, but no cigar. From MarkG's post in the "NorCal Supercharger Locations" thread: —————— "I just stopped by to supercharge at Petaluma this early evening and noticed the pairing is a little odd. Since there are 10 stalls laid out in 2 rows of 5, I was expecting that each column would be...

Supercharger - Petaluma, CA (EXPANDED Jun 2018, now 20 V2 stalls)

First charge! When I pulled up at 5:30 yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, the nice folks from the mother ship, who were finishing up their testing of the entire site and supervising final installation of signage, invited me to be the local Model S owner performing the inaugural supercharge. I was...

Stopped by this afternoon, all done except backfilling & cleaning up today & tomorrow. Foreman says Tesla is scheduled to test the site Tuesday, hopefully it will be open late Tuesday or first thing Wednesday.

Superchargers in Northern California (location speculation)

Stopped by this afternoon. Asphalt striped, pedestals complete. Foreman says PG&E will hopefully set transformer Monday, then TM will test, may be open on February 1, fingers crossed. I've been bringing the crew a dozen donuts in the afternoon every couple of days, hoping to help keep them...
