I went with just the front flaps + the PPF on the corner of the rear doors. The PPF is already pretty chewed up after just 9k miles, so I'd definitely say it's worth the small cost. The rear flaps are in storage in case I ever change my mind.

Has anyone noticed issues with auto high beams? Before the update, they would come on at every available opportunity, even if only for a second. Took a 20 mile drive down pitch black country roads last night after updating and they never once activated.

Well, the blue button finally appeared for me. I've gotten two calls and three texts from my SC today, all confirming tomorrow's pickup at 6 PM 🙌🏽 my 6 month wait is finally coming to an end!

This may be obvious, but can someone explain the electronic payment options at delivery? Our SA is 2 hours away so I’m nervous about showing up with no down payment arranged. Can I just pay from my bank account on their website once I’m satisfied with the car?

Don't worry, the ride isn't over once you schedule pickup. It took about 3 days for them to call and schedule my delivery date after my VIN was assigned, and I found out yesterday my car is delayed, so even your delivery appointment isn't set in stone. Enjoy the ride 😅

I spoke too soon - I called Tesla for an update on transit, they told me it isn’t scheduled to arrive until the day after my original appointment, so we had to push it out by two days. Lesson learned - even after VIN, the roller coaster doesn’t stop 😤

100 hours until delivery! As long as it's on time, I'll be at 149 days from order to delivery...but who's counting 😎

I've wondered for 6 months what I would say when this day finally came - all I know to say is that I noticed the shortened EDD and didn't even catch the VIN until I went to show my husband. My 6 month wait is FINALLY almost to an end.

After 4 months, my EDD *finally* tightened - we're now at November 8 - 19th! Thank god too, we leave for holidays on the 20th!

I’m pretty heartbroken right now - my EDD pushed from a 20-day window starting next week and is now a 28-day window pushed out about two weeks. I’m this 🤏🏽 close to canceling my order and grabbing a Polestar 2.

I'm hoping this is what happens to me as well - my EDD window opens next Tuesday with no VIN in sight.

It seems like a lot of people here are getting 1-2 days into their EDD, seeing them pushed out once or twice, then getting their VINs. My EDD starts next week, so I'm expecting to see this pattern hold out for me as well.

Has anyone actually found out the VIN before it's posted by inspecting the page source? I'm wondering how far in advance you can see it that way.

So I called Tesla again today since two weeks ago they told me my VIN should come within…two weeks. I got a totally different answer this time. Instead of “ignore the EDD, you should take delivery around the end of September”, I got “all I can see is your current posted EDD of 10/31-11/20.”...

Anyone else have a remarkably stable EDD? I see that a lot of people have EDDs that move every day. I've had two "real" ones since July...my most recent one hasn't changed in two weeks.
