Yeah, most people aren’t able to get that unless they show a loan approval with a lower rate, but I’ve only seen that done with DCU approvals, which is much more work than I want to do haha

Just wanted to report a successful rate match through Tesla financing. Our credit union gave us a good rate, but not as good as we'd hoped (they pulled TU VantageScore...which is my mediocre score). Wells through Tesla gave me 2.49, so I'm taking it!

My CU is great, they’ll send me a blank check to give to Tesla, but I still wanted to shop around anyway.

So FICO and not Vantage? My FICO for all reports are excellent at above 760 but my Vantage is mediocre, at low 700s. My credit union gave me a thumbs up that they would give me a loan but I don’t know my interest rate yet until after I submit a full application.
