More weirdness to report -- had my neighbor bring his model Y over and it seems to charge his car just fine. So it's clearly just my car whatever the issue is. Have scheduled a mobile service appointment for Wednesday. Will post more details when I know more.

Happened to me today driving my brand new MYLR (< 600 miles and only used for commuting) in broad daylight. It is intermittent though. And only right pillar camera. Towards the end of my drive it went away.

Got my VIN this morning. Trying to figure out all the paperwork. Says EDD 11/4-11/8.

EDD moved up from 11/9-11/29 to 10/27-11/16.

While I will likely have that option, reading the posts on the Mach E forum gives me pause. It's a great car mechanically, but there are lots of software glitches. Nothing major, just lots of annoying ones.

Is Tesla really stiffing those who ordered earlier by perpetually delaying their car because they have since increased the price of the car? That would be really an underhanded tactic.

If one assumes that my order date was reset on 7/23 because I changed color, what you said makes sense. But it's not clear that it was reset. Nothing about this process is transparent. We all assume things based on the data points that we have. Who knows!

After weeks of EDD saying 10/23-11/12, now it has changed to just plain October today. Not sure what it means just like I didn't know what all the other previous EDDs meant.

I never even tried to arrange a test drive with Tesla. I have a neighbor who owns an MYLR. I just borrowed his car when I wanted to do a test drive.

I came within inches of selling my rusting Toyota Sienna minivan and had a lucky escape. Had I trusted Tesla's original EDD, I would be without a car now.

Seriously, I would take delivery now! We are going to be teaching on campus Fall semester and I really need a reliable ride. Hoping nervously my rusting fifteen year old Sienna won't die on me while I wait for the MYLR. I really don't want to drop $ on a car I am dying to get rid of.

I would have done that had I known it before my order, but now if I change my order I am afraid it will either delay my order further or hit me with more $. Just not even going to breathe on my order.

Where does one find the inventory? Seems like a well kept secret or I am just blind.

Now I wonder if it's my tow hitch that's delaying my order. Will remove the hitch right away if I knew that's the reason for the hold up.
