I got to pick up the beauty in my avatar on Tuesday in Nashville. It was a Smooth process and no major issues. Got lucky ordered on 7/30, got my VIN on 9/2 and picked up on the 14th.
FWIW, I talked to my SA yesterday when I picked up my M3 in Nashville. He mentioned they had hoped to be doing deliveries by October, but are running behind. He mentioned it wouldn't be until closer til the end of the calendar year.
I took a check from my Bank for the rest of the financed amount (minus the Downpayment). I called the Tesla office to verify it would work about a week before delivery. The delivery center in Brentwood/Nashville was super helpful.

Had no issues to be addressed and the staff was super friendly and did not pressure me to accept delivery until after I had completed my inspection. Hope y’all have as smooth a process as I had.
Finally, I have made it to delivery week. I get to pick up my SR+ Blue/Black/19s in Nashville on Tuesday afternoon. I can barely wait.
It has been a whirlwind. I ordered 7/31, moved out of my Condo on 6 August, took vacation to Mexico and arrived in Tennessee just before Labor Day Weekend...
Typically, you should get a prompt asking you to accept Tesla Vision and complete the remaining steps, then you will notice the VIN below your RN on the page.
That’s crazy. I ordered a M3SR+ Blue/Black/19s at end of July as well. Only, my EDD has stayed solidly in September this whole time. Hopefully you won’t have to wait until January to get it.
I must be one of the few whose EDD doesn’t really jump. Ordered M3SR+ on 7/31. It moved once to 8/6-9/23; otherwise it has stayed virtually the same with dates of 9/6 to 9/23. I’m not really expecting anything though until the VIN pops.
I’m moving to the Memphis area and will be taking delivery of my M3SR+ Blue/Black/19 Sport Wheels there. Hoping the new Showroom is up and doing deliveries by that time, though if not I get an excuse to go to Nashville for a bit. 😊
Thank you. Is the Frunk/Trunk getting wet that big of a problem in the M3? I've read some reviews where water can seep into the Frunk/Trunk because of poor gaps, and what not - in your opinion is this is a common occurrence and thus something I should be preventing or is it a one-off problem...
Hi everyone, this might be a silly question but I'll ask. I ordered my 3SR+ a week ago - I know I need the mats for the interior. However, what are the Pros/Cons to having Mats for the Frunk/Trunk? Not sure what they might bring to the table other than the cost. Thanks!

Hope this holds true. I ordered my M3 Blue/Black on 7/31. My initial EDD said 9/8-9/26. I doubt that is true, but maybe I get the end of quarter push. So far my ED has only moved up to as early as 8/16, now it’s back to 9/6-9/23.
Thanks! I happened to be able to test drive a blue M3. That only helped solidify that I wanted Blue. The test drive also convinced me to go with the Black interior rather than the white.
