Center horn retrofit for Model S

Just got my yoke installed today, feels nice. I'm not convinced the material is different than my previous yoke (hope i'm wrong) but obviously has the seams so slightly different feel to it. Horn in its proper placed is definitely the best part.

    Yoke vs Steering

After 2 years of driving with the yoke, i'm really considering switching to a wheel to replace my peeling yoke. I've generally gotten used to driving with the yoke, but that doesn't mean I think it's better than a traditional round wheel. I'm not sure it's worth it to spend time adapting to a...

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

honest question, why is everyone getting so worked up by the buzzing? reading through comments it almost feels like this buzzing will deter them from ever purchasing another tesla again - is the buzzing that serious? does it affect the cars drivability or performance in some way?

2021 Model S (LR) - Real world driving range

Fair point, but EVs seem to be far more sensitive to speeds and other driving factors than I was initially aware. If I drive 75-80 in my SUV, mileage is probably 2-3 mpg less than advertised MPG (~10-15%) whereas EV's seem to be 30%+. I'm not unhappy and wouldn't trade in my Tesla bc of this...

2021 Model S (LR) - Real world driving range

I have a '21 Model S LR and have a similar experience. Was my first EV and disappointed that I wasn't getting anywhere near the stated range initially, but have gotten used to typical range for my driving and know better what to expect. I assume if I drove 60-65 for road trips, my range would be...

2022 MS Long Range - What you seeing?

I'm at about 5k miles and my 100% is around 367 mi.

    Autopilot vs FSD

You'll get the Full Self Driving computer either way (i.e. if you later decide to add FSD you don't need new hardware), but if you don't purchase FSD you won't have access to 1-4, 6. After having tried the subscription for a couple of months, basic autopilot is just fine for me. It includes TACC...

    Lifetime Average Wh/mi

Same config as you, mine also has about 2,500 miles and I'm down to 355-360 and I feel the same as you. Wasn't expecting this much drop in such a short time either.

    Lifetime Average Wh/mi

yes, I get that and the tires/wheels are factored into the 375 mi rated range when new for the 21" arachnids (vs 405 mi for the 19"). I meant that I find it odd that tire wear beyond that would be factored into the max rated range (not actual range) if charging to 100%. Some people still show...

    Lifetime Average Wh/mi

Seems odd that tires would affect the rated EPA range calculation

    Lifetime Average Wh/mi

Similar here, have had the car for about 2 months and 2k miles. Refresh LR with 21’s, for the first 1.5 months the max range was generally between 373-376. The last 2 weeks has ranged between 362-366 so seems like quite a drop recently, not sure why.

2021 model s long range real world super charging is FAST

I recently did a trip in my LR and had to charge from about 28% to 95%, it took 40 min at a v3 supercharger. For additional context, going from 28% to 80% estimated 25 min until I moved the slider to 95%, so the additional 15% took an additional 15 min. Because charging is so fast on the low...

    XM Radio ID?

I swear I tried this before posting, but just tried again and was able to slide it left. Now it appears in the categories line. Weird. Thanks for all the suggestions.

    XM Radio ID?

Not sure if it matters, this is on the new model S. I do not have anything under "All Categories" called subscription and do not have a black bar available on the screen.

    XM Radio ID?

I don’t have any of those options available - here’s what my screen looks like, can’t scroll any farther to the right and no subscription buttons that I can find

    XM Radio ID?

Just updated the new software to 2021.32.10 which includes the XM Radio app. I pull it up, but cannot figure out how to get to Channel 0 or display the Radio ID somehow - any suggestions? There really isn't a tune option i've found to dial in a specific channel, all of the channels just show up...
