I stopped caring about range after I got my MYLR coming from a M3SR+. I learned to know my car and learned to plan. Right now car has 8k miles with 259 miles at 80 percent. 324 miles at 100 percent.
I know there have been issues when TACC and AP but we just need to use it appropriately and work within its strengths. I still use it 80 percent of my drives. I drive about 140 miles a day, using I90 (Chicago) and it does makes drives much easier. Other than these issues mentioned on this...
Be prepared to lose 20-30 percent range in the winter. Pre heating the car helps, staying below 70mph, and of course driving behind a semi. It’s about 40-50 degrees in Illinois.
Awesome! I got it for the MY. The install was a pain in the ass. Had to remove the biodefense and remove the negative charge on the battery then the low volt connector in the passenger back rear. All easy. But the annoying part was to put the plug the module back into the MCU. Took an hr for me...
Installed the boost 50 and it’s awesome! No software issues. Definitely feels quicker. Can’t compare to the AB but for sure a low 4 sec 0-60. Worth the $864 Black Friday deal!
Same situation as you with the phantom braking. Worst in my 2021 MY then my 2020 M3. maybe the new use of just cameras without radar. Very dangerous. I do not to use AP on a 2 lane highway.
Right. I agree take the car. Lots of obsession getting “2022” VIN. Get the car, enjoy the car. If you’re worried about resale value at this point, You shouldn’t get the car.
