A.W. from the MN Facebook group posted photos they took yesterday. Pedestals are still covered up and a crew was actively working on the CCS chargers (different contractors than the Tesla ones).

Well I guess the (speculation) part of my title can be removed (probably can't do that though). One-call ticket confirms it's a Supercharger:

Someone on the MN Tesla FB group is apparently staying at Surfside Inn and posted this photo yesterday. I tried getting clarification if it was a photo taken yesterday, but they must have missed it and didn't respond. Photo credit to E.G.W. from that group.

From the last photo that Biking Maniac posted, I believe you can see a transformer to the left of the white Tesla "box" - or is that not a transformer?

I just noticed something interesting in the linked PDF - there's references to future Shell Recharge equipment and stalls. Very cool for non-Teslas.

Probably not worth mentioning, but there's an updated one-call dig ticket for this site: Search and Status Seems the original one expired. Doesn't appear to be anything new in it aside from bumping out the dates.

At least 4 stalls will be easier to ICE with only a single pickup truck towing a boat - then they can chuckle about sticking it to Tesla owners while they drive up to take a photo in front of the giant fish statue in Garrison.

Someone on the FB group mentioned they might be two CCS DCFC chargers. One of the original picture posts when the equipment was delivered showed 4 identical ABB boxes - I’m wondering if those are 4 CCS cables for something like a pair of ABB Terra 184s. Though, on second thought, those boxes...

With the Carlton (and now Two Harbors) superchargers, I’ve been able to easily skip the Duluth super chargers every time I’ve gone to Lutsen/Grand Marais. They do seem pretty inconvenient for people passing through, but a nice place to top off if staying in Duluth. Would be cool if they could...

I hope they have a transformer lined up. I don’t know if the presence of charger cabinets is a good indicator since the Bloomington super chargers had cabinets in place sometime in May of last year but the site didn’t go live until…September? Supercharger - Bloomington, MN

The OCC permit says that work is starting tomorrow, but they listed 5pm as the start time…so maybe Wednesday?

The MN Tesla group had a post this afternoon showing all the pedestals ripped up and removed. Someone in the comments mentioned the company that had done the work messed up the installed and now his (the commentor) company was hired to re-install them properly. Interesting stuff.

Thanks for that! I made some macros to react to my phone connecting to bluetooth instead of connectivity and I'll see how that works.
