    Auto fold mirror problem

No, that wasn't my issue. Did not have a problem with my home address.

    Auto fold mirror problem

Not sure what you mean. I set my home address as home location for the car. I never checked to see what the phone said for my location.

    Auto fold mirror problem

Here's a screen shot to give an idea what it looks like. Change "Location Saved" from blue to white by tapping on it.

    Auto fold mirror problem

My mirrors would fold when we enter our driveway and when we start to reverse out of the garage. I've had my 2023 MYP for 6 months and this started just a couple weeks ago. I don't have the auto fold mirrors settings set to on for my home location. Never enabled those settings. I do have...

    Final Trade-In Offer 25% Less

Yep. I had a good offer with KBB instant cash offer. I showed up at the dealership with the offer and they said they couldn't do it that price and lowered the offer by enough that I went with Carvana I think. A waste of my time.

Is there a reason to get the Tesla wall connector over other level 2 home chargers?

When I first got my Tesla I had the ChargePoint Home Flex and it worked fine, but I had to use the adapter. What I didn't like is that you had to manually open the charge point by pushing on the cover or using the app or car display. I really wanted to just press the button on the Tesla...

Y Performance Model- Looking for Insights

I went from a 2021 M3 with acceleration boost to a 2023 MYP and love the MYP. I like the looks of the MYP and I like the way it drives on mountain roads. My wife drives it the most and she doesn't know what it is, just that it's red. I recommend test driving each type you're interested in as...

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

I got had these on my M3 for two years and held up well so I got them for the Y. Install is easy and so far they seem like they'll be good. https://www.amazon.com/BASENOR-Tesla-Splash-Guards-Upgraded/dp/B08VHQSXD1?th=1

My M3 was grey so I was ready for something a bit different. Still like the grey, but happy with the red

Thinking of the Tesla Model 3/Y but have some questions

So much to answer. I'll make it quick. I went from a 2021 M3 long range with Acceleration Boost (AB) to a 2023 MYP. I really liked my M3, but with all the lower prices (Y dropped 16K in 4 months) and now being able to get the $7,500 Fed Tax Credit, I sold my M3 and bought the MYP. I love the...

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

I went from a 2021 M3 LR with AB to this 2023 MYP last week. I really liked my M3, but really like the MYP. I like the more room and it's easier getting in and out. Power seems similar to the M3 with AB even though the MYP is rated about .2 faster in the 0 to 60 I believe. I've added IR tint...

Homelink Not Available for 2023 Model Y?

No problems with the Homelink install on my 2023 MYP today. Took him about 15 minutes for install and program it for my garage doors.

Homelink Not Available for 2023 Model Y?

No, I did not get that message. I'll update tomorrow.

Homelink Not Available for 2023 Model Y?

I got my MYP on May 1st. I followed the website directions. I took the app options as any year Model Y and the Model 3 years 2017 to 2022. I selected the local service center for install, made the appointment and then the next day got a message that my appointment was moved to mobile service...

    Model 3 windshield/roof tint

I agree. I have it on the windshield and roof and it didn't seem to add to the heat protection I was already getting from the side and partial back IR tent I originally put on.

    Rimetrix Laminars are here

I use an iFixit prying tool for phones and it works great. I use two at the same time and it gets them off without scratching. It's like the blue long one in this link...

Model 3 Windshield Replacement - Extra $600 charge to recalibrate?

Wow. I paid $1,200 yesterday to replace my 2021 M3 long range with a local company and then I pressed the re-callibration button on my screen and within about 15 minutes of driving it finished. That company sounds crooked charging $600 for pressing that same button that the owner can press.

Unable to patch Tesla Michelin tires

Last year, shortly after getting my 2021 M3 LR, I got a screw in my tire and had it patched for free at Tucker Tire in Laguna Niguel. I haven't had any problems and I'm at 21K miles now.

Autopilot nor Cruise will engage 50% or more of drives

The first time I drove after this 2022.12.3.2 update I had the same problem where cruise/auto steer wouldn't engage, would give me error with the big red steering wheel. I rebooted the car and then powered it off for 5 minutes. That seemed to fix it as I've had no problems since this happened...

Screw in Tire, Replace or Take a Chance?

I got a nail or screw in my M3 LR tire right after I got my car new last year. I had it plugged for free from my local tire shop and I've had no problems 10 months and 17,000 miles later.

    Acceleration Boost while driving?

I did it at work so I could drive home with it. It seemed like it only took 5 minutes or so. My car was parked as I did it from my app. I was surprised at how fast it took. I tried it and loved it but then cancelled within the allotted time. I did order it later and don't regret it.

Tesla Wall Connector Installation Question for future proofing

I have both the Charge Point Home Flex and the Tesla Gen 3 charger hardwired on separate 60 amp circuits. I would get the Charge Point or other j1772 and have it hardwired with 60 amp breaker. Then you'll be good to go for any future EV. For my M3, I prefer to use the Tesla charger as I don't...

Constantly rattling door at highway speeds - can you help me diagnose ahead of SC visit? [video]

I had this exact same problem on my 2021 M3. I saw on another thread to check the wheel well. I did and put some double sided Gorilla Glue tape on some areas in the wheel well and now I don't hear the noise. I noticed the right wheel well connection at the top was not properly connected like...
