An update on my end. Got VIN on Saturday and scheduled for pickup in Renton this Friday at 3 PM! They initially set it as home delivery but I requested dealership pickup instead. Was also able to wrap up financing with DCU in a few hours this morning and they've mailed the check already!

Just to clarify, the check goes directly to Tesla, right? This is my first time financing a car so pretty unfamiliar with this process!

After some brief browsing of quotes, I'll probably stick with my existing provider, PEMCO, since they had the lowest premium. Unfortunately, I think PEMCO might only be a Northwest insurance provider 😬

Finally got a VIN! New EDD: Nov 21 - Nov 27. Just sent my loan application to DCU as well! Looking for insurance quotes as I type this...

EDD narrowed to 11/17-12/01 this morning. Hopefully this is the final stretch before VIN so I can apply for financing and start looking for insurance!

An EDD range of almost a month is probably not a good indicator of anything, right? Been holding steady at Nov 05 - Dec 03 for a few weeks at this point and am hoping it's actually accurate for once...

Inventory MYLR was available in Renton today. Almost pulled the trigger but psyched myself out of it thinking about why it was even available in the first place.

Out of curiosity, are non-demo inventory vehicles generally "defective" in some minor way? Are they delivery rejects? Is there a reason (maybe they don't want to ship it to another SC?) why they wouldn't just be matched to the closest customer with the same loadout that's waiting for a custom order?

Yeah, it'd be nice if there was at least a bit of transparency into how these EDDs are actually generated. As of now, it totally feels like they're generated at random.

I'm in a fairly similar boat also out out of Seattle. Original EDD was November 12-28, changed to September 18-30, changed to January this past weekend, and then changed back to September 18-30 today. Who knows when it'll actually show up...

From September 18 - September 30 to January back to September 18 - September 30. Someone, please get me off of the EDD's wild ride.

Alas, I guess 9/18-9/30 was definitely too good to be true. EDD now shows the generic January.

Gotcha, that's quite the long journey with the EDDs there just to end up with the estimated date told at the start of the process. Now that you mention it, I do remember the SA at the U Vill store telling me November-ish when I went to test drive an MYLR right before ordering so that'll probably...

That makes sense regarding the EDD being unreliable. I was already mentally prepared for late November-December so anything sooner would definitely be a nice bonus.

Been lurking for a few weeks but figured I'd hop in! I ordered on 8/1 and had an original EDD of 11/12-11/28 but this morning it randomly jumped to 9/18-9/30. Is the EDD generally stable within 30 days or is this probably a glitch? I know there are quite a few people who ordered way before me...
