Update: Local tire shop quoted $30 to rotate my tires over the phone. When I took it in this morning they didn’t charge me. I asked about proper torquing of the wheels and they said they hand tighten at the end per each manufacturer’s spec.

Just checked prices in Santa Barbara, CA. $65 for the tire rotation at my local Tesla service center. $30 at the local tire shop. Going with the local tire shop.

The crease has not disappeared about 10 weeks later, for any of those that might be bothered by this. Perhaps a different packaging method should be used for shipping.

I stand corrected. It does go off if I leave the car alone after some time. Probably within the 15-60 minute time frame you suggested. However, most of the time I’m in and out of the garage, I’m hearing the sound.

Anytime I go in the garage, I’m reminded of the issue. The sound is there whenever the car is plugged in, which is always.

Got the car back yesterday and the service advisor said they ran a thermal systems test, everything checks out, there are no issues, the sound is normal, and they don’t want to replace anything that there’s not a known issue with.

Yes, the noise is also there when not plugged in. It seems to sleep after a while. When the car is plugged in and charging, I believe the noise is constant. If plugged in and not charging, it stops eventually.

There also seems to be a spot in the middle of the thread of the black nobs where the resistance stops then picks up again when twisting. That seems to be the factory height level for the nobs.

But, the choice is either dents around the logo or a misaligned hood, right?

My bass has now dropped out 4 times. I have to keep restarting the computer.

Same thing happened to my brand new MYLR yesterday. I was surprised too. To fix it, just restart the computer. Push both buttons on the steering wheel for 10 seconds or so until the screen goes dark and reboots.

I purchased AB for my MYLR, tried it out for 48 hours, then returned it to get a feel for the car without it. I drove for one day without AB then purchased it the next day. It just makes the MYLR so much more fun to drive. Even if it’s not used a lot, just knowing it is there and available on...

Took delivery today. No issues other than some really minor panel gaps and a slight dent on the frunk around the Tesla logo. Love the car and very happy with it.

My SA said I would not go to the back of the line if I delayed but would be looking at maybe an April delivery should I place my order on hold. Too many unknowns for me. Also, Tesla just called and bumped up my delivery to 2pm today.

Let me think about this one. Take delivery tomorrow and enjoy the car for the next 6-8 months, or put the order on hold for a bill not yet passed and agonize in Tesla waiting hell until April or May of 2022. That $10K incentive can suck it. I’m taking delivery tomorrow.

Or take delivery on Saturday, order another MYLR, get the $10K - $12K tax incentive in 2022, then turn around and sell my 2021? However, used MY prices in 2022 may go down respectively due to the incentive.
