My tint guy measured 18 in the factory rears so we left them as is and added 20 to the fronts and 50 windshield.

I still have both and they are very different cars. The yp is more like a sport sedan and the x plaid is more of a Luxury sport suv. No more wife complaints on the y ride , so everyone is happy

I went with xpel and 50 percent windshield and 20 on the fronts. Also did ppf frontal to the doors. No issues at night.

Can you open the model x doors from the app or voice shortcut ?

I still have both the yp and xp and I can now confirm that the x ride is substantially improved over the Y. Everything is smoother including acceleration. The ride is much quieter and you barely feel the bumps in the road compared to the y. I also raced the X against the yp and it was amusing to...

Thank you. I did only 20 on the front and nothing on the rears and 50 windshield. When the shop measured the rear he told me it was 18 so that remained.

Here is my new plaid with full frontal ppf and windshield 50 percent and sides 20. New Jersey shop did a great job. Terrible photo glare now but I drove it last night for the first time and I had no visibility issues

My 22 x charge port will only open with the app. I also have a model y and the port door opens when i press the button on the charger. Anyone else with this issue ?

Picked up my x plaid this Morning. I have still have my yp, and now have a happy wife. She hates the yp rough ride compared to the smooth and quiet ride of the x. Insane acceleration Is a bonus.

I guess location is a big factor in who gets a car. I pick my xp up Monday and I see many ordered before me. I would think that October date will change back again.

My Vin was received on 5/19. Today the EDD changed from October to TBD I hope that is a good thing

Wow great news on plaids. I also got my vin and the sa tells me it’s 2 weeks to delivery but my edd still shows October. Anyone get a vin and still show October?

just got my vin today. Spoke with the sa and they tell me delivery first week of June.

I uploaded insurance and now the next step is the payment. I financed my model y so not sure if I should be paying now or when I pick it up? Does not paying now cause any delays ?
