Nope. Pretty seamless. Not a ton of places to park if you have someone going with you. But really, that’s it. They were very helpful. Don’t forget a pen!

Saturday afternoon in Rockville

I just got a call from the delivery center. Was told my car is ready early. I immediately asked “does it have USB PORTS” Her reply, I don’t know. I’d have to check the VIN, you can call back. So, it must be VIN related. What got lost in that, IM GETTING IT TOMORROW!!

Seems like cars before VIN 310 have them. Of course that’s a tiny sample size, I get a 309 this weekend. So fingers crossed.

That could be said for anything mentioned on the forums. But I want To see if there may be a trend in VINs impacted. Even if it’s a minuscule sample size, the form certainly does no harm, not looking to draw difinitive conclusions from it.

What they’ll tell you is that they’ll change your price to the current price Which has gone up, even if you take out the 1k for MSM. You can’t change your order, it will get updated to the current price

Delivery 11/20. SA called and said I should do my downpayment online, to make sure there’s no delays. I said I prefer to use a cashiers check/loan check, so they’re following up to make sure that’s ok. Also asked where car was, cause if they insist I pay online I’m not doing it until my car...

Call them and make an appointment. Don’t wait if you’re particular about a time. I called before the delivery text and got the day and time I wanted.

All the Cali people were annoyed about VINs coming AFTER east coasters, but getting their car before the East Coast. It’s like Tesla has done this before.

We can all hope certain indiv id be careful with trying to game it like that. I think we all expect a lot of Late December holds if the bill passes and you could pop back up earlier than hoped for. If it’s on hold now, I’d leave it there til Jan.

W Yeah! Yelling at customer service reps always works especially when you’re being targeted for $100/$250! That’ll show them. I understand frustration and in some cases it’s warranted. But LOL.

At this point I’d chalk most “rejects” to people delaying instead of assuming there’s an issue with the car. BUT I’d do the same detailed inspection either way.

I think they’re asking…why not delay (instead of “cancel”) and keep the price locked in while still getting the benefits?

Got VIN a week ago. EDD IS 11/15-11/21. No delivery text yet, so I just called them. Have a few days that work for me, so I wanted to get ahead of it and avoid issues. They let me make an appointment over the phone for 11/20. And will update me if the car comes in sooner than later expected.
