I'd be very surprised if that was honoured. I believe that financing offers are usually only valid for 90 days. When it comes time to actually complete your transaction I think you'll be required to update the financing.

Looks fantastic! Did you do 20% on front and rear sides, meaning the total percentage on the rear is probably closer to 5-10% factoring in the 20% factory tint? Or did you mean you did 20% on the front in order to have it look the same as the factory tiny on the rear sides?

Had my 5 seat LR model, ordered June 2021, pushed back to December 2022 - April 2023. Meanwhile my order for a plaid, placed January 2022 has now moved up from October to early June delivery.

My 5-seat order is still August/22, and my plaid is October/22. Great to see some possible movement on Canadian deliveries though. That will be very exciting if they actually start to deliver vehicles!

Canadian LR order placed June/21. I didn’t get pushed back to July! I got pushed from May to August. 😂

Long range order now pushed back to August 2022.

My LR order from June/21 also moved to May. My plaid order from January/22 still shows October.

I sold a 2015 Model S P85D when I took delivery of our new Model S in December. I sold it for approximately $20,000 ($15,000USD) more than Tesla offered as a trade in. However, this was in Canada, so not sure if it would be the same in the US.

I think it's a bit of luck of the draw. I heard of similar quality control issues around the refresh S. However, when we picked up our refresh S at the end of December, the quality of the build was excellent. We weren't able to identify anything at delivery that needed correction.

My LR order (placed July 2021) still shows March 2022 delivery, and my Plaid order (placed January 2022) shows October 2022 delivery. However, I'm sure both of those dates are random placeholders, and mean nothing.

Yes, the luxury tax piece is a big unknown here. With the current prices, giving up my old order, and moving from a LR to a plaid would be around $44,000. However, if it means no luxury tax by being delivered sooner then that delta shrinks. Also, it’s sounding like 5 seater LRs may not ship...

I actually agree with this post. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they changed the options to only allow 6 seat in the future. It seems like it’s all about simplifying options and production.

Pretty sure this can only be done if you have an assigned VIN, meaning you’re only a couple weeks from your delivery date.

I also haven’t made any changes and just got pushed from January 20-February 16 to March 2-30. I’d previously been pushed twice already. My original EDD was either later October or early November. I ordered in June.

Saw a white MSLR in the delivery bay when I was at the Calgary service centre a few days ago. Hopefully many more to come. We are waiting on an S and an X. Would be nice to get one of them before the Trudeau tax takes effect in January.
