Picked up my MYP on Monday. Since this is in Europe, we get proper summer tires - Pirelli P-Zero - staggered of course. Compared to a YLR (without boost), the P is just crazy fast. It was made in Berlin.

There is little diference, interestingly 19 and 20 inch wheels weigh almost the same. Interestingly when switching to much lighter 19 inch wheels for winter (about 2 kg lighter rim), the ride qualitily improves, probably also softer winter tyres help a bit.

No, 295/35 R21 is max for the rear or 285/40 R21 if you want more sidewall. I am pretty sure 295/40 R21 will not work, maybe someone has tried it out...

19s and Laminar Black - Set of 4 Wheel Covers is the way to go if you wanna ride comfortably (as far as the MY suspension allows it), avoid bent wheels and look good. :) Ordering mine today, but should last a few weeks until the package reaches to Europe, since they are on backorder.

FYI: European Model Y´s are delivered with Michelin Pilot Sport EV Tyres from the factory, if one chooses Induction wheels. If not, Hankook Ventus EVO S1 is standard for 19 inch Variant. I have the latter, as an ex M3P owner with Michelin PSP4S, I an amazed by the standard Hankook tyres. Maybe...

100-150 $ a rim sounds fine, just paying for it a few times a year does not. :) I will be taking delivery of my MYP (Europe) in Q1 od Q2 2022, one of the first things would be replacing the wheels with some lightweight 19s.

Picked my car (made in China) up on Sept. 3, still stuck on 2021.3.104. My service appointment in the app has been cancelled, the explanation was: "your car has the latest SW available". I think I will be calling them and ask for a force update, maybe that will work.
