Want to buy a Model 3, insurance is crazy expensive

I switched from Farmers to Liberty and the prices were way way less for the same coverage. At first Liberty gave me a pretty high quote but then I mentioned that Tesla has a partnership with Liberty. The agent looked it up and came back with much lower quotes once they realized they have a...

    Wiki Trailer-friendly Supercharger Locations

On the road trip that I took earlier this year in my Model X from Southern California to the Tesla Club Gathering in St. Louis, Missouri, I made note of the trailer friendliness and took photos of all the superchargers along my drive on the I-70 there and the I-40 return trip. For convenience...

    Executive Rear seats discontinued

What day did you order your Tesla Model S with the Executive Seats? I assume you are talking about the Executive Rear Seats? My understanding is they were discontinued in the US over a year ago. There are some suggestions that they might still be available in China which is believed to be the...

    Executive Rear seats discontinued

I agree. The center console does add class to the usual bench seat. Is that a standard option from Tesla now or is that still a 3rd party aftermarket item? How do you get it out of the way to seat 5? It doesn't look like it folds up. Do you somehow unlatch it and store it in the trunk?

    Executive Rear seats discontinued

Until your post, I hadn't even thought about not being able to keep my Executive Rear Seats should the day ever come that I want to trade up my Tesla Model S (again!). Not having the ability to again purchase the rear seat option with a new Tesla will probably encourage me to stick with my...

Fastest long-distance: stop at every Supercharger or drain battery for faster overall recharges?

Not exactly to the topic, but I almost always stop at every Supercharger. I've done a 3600 mile trip from the west coast to Missouri in a MS P85D and the same trip again, though a different route for the return, in a MX P90DL. Plus I've done a number of trips up and down the west coast between...

    Model X Road Trip Poll

I live in Vancouver, Washington. Portland is by far the closest Tesla delivery point to my home. Unfortunately, you have to pay Washington State sales tax even if you take delivery in Portland. Back in 2013 when I took delivery of my first Tesla Model S 85 Washington State exempted all EV's from...

    Model X Road Trip Poll

I took delivery in Portland, Oregon, in March 2016 of our 2016 Tesla Model X P90DL and drove about 1000 miles to my vacation house in Anaheim in Southern California. Then in May 2016 I drove it from Southern California to the Midwest Tesla Gathering in St. Louis, Missouri, taking I-15 and I-70...

    Executive Rear seats discontinued

I have the Executive Rear Seats in my 2015 Tesla Model P85D that I took delivery of in March 2015, more than a year ago. I love these seats! It give my passengers in the rear a chance to enjoy riding in the back almost as much as I enjoy riding in the driver seat of the Tesla. I think it must...

First road trip in your MX

I've been managing websites since 1995, but for the life of me I can't figure out social media including Facebook, Twitter or Forums. Where the heck to you post Tesla Road Trips on Tesla Motors Club Forums? For all the searches I have done I can't find a related forum but I do know that many...

So far we have reached St. George, Utah. You can see the report and photos from this first day of travel at: Anaheim,CA to St.George,UT by...

First road trip in your MX

Seems like the people here must be experienced road warriors. The ONLY way i'd ever want to do any trip over 300 miles is to stop for a 20 minute leg stretch every 2 to 3 hours, so the Tesla is perfect for me! I've done lots of trips up and down the west coast in my Tesla between Anaheim and...

    Wiki Trailer-friendly Supercharger Locations

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked at it, but I'm not sure that will work for me. Everything I'm taking is in banker boxes. That tray looks like it could maybe hold 3 banker boxes, or maybe 6 if I stack a second row. And of course, if there is any inclement weather it will destroy the banker...

First road trip in your MX

I'm planning a trip in my MX from Southern California to St. Louis, Missouri starting this Saturday, May 28, 2016, to attend the annual Midwest Tesla Gathering. But this might not qualify as my "first" MX road trip. I live in Vancouver,Washington, took delivery of my MX in Portland,Oregon, and...

    Wiki Trailer-friendly Supercharger Locations

Thanks for creating this thread! I have a Model X with the towing packing. I am making a trip from Southern California to Missouri and have a lot of stuff I'd like to bring with me to drop off in Missouri. I was giving some thought to renting a trailer, but the list provided here has helped make...
