Definitely double-check if the fluid is leaking out the bottom of the car. If so, your washer fluid hose may have come loose. Happened to mine a few days after delivery, but was easily fixed by pulling up the cowl cover under the hood and reconnecting the hose to the hose barb.

Yep, same here. Had the issue last week. I was surprised that the washer fluid hose is only held on to the splitter by friction. No hose clamps or zip ties.

I personally don't think it's needed. The factory tint on the back glass is way more than sufficient. My previous car (Subaru Ascent) came with one and it never left the under-floor cargo area. I didn't even remember having it until cleaning out the car to be sold.
