Yes, this has happened to me. It does listen like a husband by not listening tho! I find that sometimes that happens when I don't have a clear cell signal. After I drive a few blocks it starts listening again.. it's quite frustrating.

Yep. Those windshield wipers clearly have a kind of their own. It’s very frustrating

Agreed. It's a giant annoying issue. I have also switched my wipers to manual. They need to fix this or reimburse us for the wipers turning on for no reason and messing with an expensive carwash.

This is not an issue if your vehicle doesn't get updates the way Teslas are updated...so only Teslas will be inconvenienced so perhaps I should not update my car any time soon. That would keep the window situation as it is......correct?

How does this make any sense to all the rest of us who can figure out how to open and close windows responsibly? Seriously? Someone decided that it was too dangerous to have windows close without stepping on a brake pedal? What the heck is happening to the b rest of us? Arghhhhhhhhh

I have the same issues. My MY wouldn’t connect to my Wi-Fi. It was making me a little crazy because I knew I had Wi-Fi. I rebooted the car and that worked for me. Then of course it got stuck on 50%. I just said the hell with it and it download it on its own. All is good now

Yes. I find this quite annoying especially on curvy mountain roads or even just on the freeway. Like I'm being punished!

After 7 months of being a MY owner, I still find myself saying out loud and looking for that little P, "the car is in park". It drives my husband crazy but I'm old and have to double check! 🤪🤣

Why does it seem that I keep rubbing my nice black rims against the sides of sidewalks? I’ve been driving for over 50 years and don’t remember having this issue. 😱. Thank goodness for my very black marker! Why? I’ve tried to be so careful. It’s like the curb jumps right out at my wheels

Agreed. It really is in the wrong place (in my opinion). Also. If there is a car in that blind spot, the pop up video hides the picture of a red vehicle in that lane

I live in Santa Monica and hate that this place is turning into a shithole. Let’s put more low income housing into this corner and see how crowded and messed up the City can be. Argggghhh

Any idea about superchargers in Santa Monica?? I know of 2. One at Santa Monica Place which is a mess and another at Santa Monica Blvd and 14th which is seldom open. They need more in that area.

Agreed. And that blind spot pic hides the red vehicle on the screen. Clearly the person who is involved in this UI did not test it out properly. I hope he gets fixed soon

I was watching for an update like a hawk. Almost like when I was waiting for my delivery. And then there it was, update software. What the hell did it update? Would be nice if it corrected some of the issues we need correcting

I guess the folks who decided this UI works best aren't older and don't care about speeding tickets. It's tough enough trying to go slow in the Y. A larger font would be a lot better for most of us

Agree. Someone mentioned somewhere in this board that the people messing with the UI are clearly young and have no clue about what it takes to be a safe driver. Why have Tik Tok, Light Show, games and theater so easily accessed at the bottom of the screen and not useful info instead...

It’s crazy that this is what they came up with for us. I’d like the old version back as well. Let me easily find some controls. I don’t need to find my music that easily. I’d prefer to find the important stuff on the screen

I agree 100 per cent. This update is awful. I hate having to use multiple buttons to get what I want. It's not a safe way to try to get to what you might need while driving. The option to see the blind spots when using the turn signal is great. The issue is its in the wrong place. It...

I’m a stuck on 36.8 as well. I took delivery on 9/25. Received an update 2 weeks later and then another the very next day. But nothing since then. Frustrating

If you tap it gently in the same direction, it will turn the signal off without looking silly to the other drivers 😎
