I hope that the 12V is all it is. This happened to my then 2018 M3 just a few months in. It’s just puzzling that this tends to happen to new cars more. After all these years, one would have thought that Tesla would have figured things out.

That’s a very new vin, maybe being or not yet built even. You can always text back at the Tesla number that sent you the vin notification or call your DC and ask for the car birthdate. Congrats!

I can attest to that! Teslas are a dime a dozen where I live - literally every house has one and I can’t drive 50 feet without seeing one, lol. And yeah, your ‘16 MX seems like the one to keep.
