well latest update messed up the car and FSD.... on Mokoia road random time speed is shown between 30 to 80 when actual is 50... random places car will simply stop (phantom breaking)... randomly it will try to change lane and at 70% suddenly pull back in original lane with no one around...

I had in my audi this all the time before I had my first Tesla in 2021... It was always based on camera in front (right behind rear view mirror). Tesla also had this for quite some time at low level where some pixels were lowered on right side where oncoming driver is - now going more accurate...

some valid points... however following is what they are selling right now.... Navigate on Autopilot - wouldn't at most times, would change lanes at wrong time, would drive at wrong speeds Auto lane change - wouldn't change lane without receiving confirmation from driver, this is not auto...

Totally support and happy to join... I use FSD at almost all the time, but rarely use navigate on autopilot as it's very unreliable at most times... very strange but good compromise...

good on Tesla.... agree with you However, many other companies keep things fully functional to start with... what you buy doesn't improve every week but works perfect out of the box. good that Tesla keep evolving, else it will be Nokia of car world... BYD already overtaken in battery...

if you can play lightshow and it projects TESLA on wall, you have matrix headlight.... another way to see is - when driving at night if you see that right side road is having light level lower than road in front of you... you got matrix headlight... or if you have auto-high beam enabled in...

people did more than 40-50K on M3 tyres and I am sure few might did the same on MY... ultimately we buy something we like.... when we calculate every aspect of it and try to predict the future - we start with disappointment... also, you can never account for bad roads after floods, landslides...

well... not everyone totally depending on grid at all the time as well... My house, pool, spa, sauna, and car almost 80% of time run on solar panels and battery array... some automation takes care of handling the right distribution and fine-tuning usage over days across different weathers...

It always worked perfectly before to come to complete stop when it's 1) pedestrian crossing, round-about, give way sign at intersection.... so they messed it up. Taking precautions is always good... love your approach. but my personal thinking is, what's the point of buying autosteer but not use...

yup... in most cases wipers are lazy as... glass wholly covered in water but they don't even nudge.... specially if on autopilot... it's not safe or reliable, as camera vision might be blocked. probably idea is that make current one so bad, their promised improved wiper performance automatically...

That was to save reputation and avoid lawsuits... after holiday update my car try to target and bump into vehicle waiting on signal at other side of road - hopefully this fix fixes that and many other issues like on indication camera disappearing at random times..

there are heaps.... my car try to hit another car on other side of road at signal... for no apparent reason... car starts flashing warning right when still holding steering and right that moment just switched to FSD.... randomly slowing down when noone on road or no visible hazards.... high risk...

Just gave in and installed updates... started giving more alerts compare to before.... red follows right when blue starts... also some collision detected on perfectly empty road, freaky... all in all, it might try more to push people not to use FSD... probably Tesla getting ready to lease out...

well... point of FSD is FSD... navigate on autopilot is to navigate on autopilot... system is so flowed that many location on motorway it just keeps asking to nudge steering wheel... and eventually gives way too many alerts... with new condition... without drivers fault, this will go on to...

based on following article.... Tesla is messing with FSD and with no user consent, can simply take away $11400 feature users paid for and no refunds involved whatsoever..... and this is rolled along with holiday update, kind of sugar-coated with lollies...

Tesla only recognise Tesla products... like Apple. Maybe someday in future they will realise that there is advance world out there with 3D buildings on map and so many non-tesla fast chargers (some even free) and navigation systems choosing correct lane when driving.... but that's for future...

if you want to have FSD and TACC both... leave it to double stoke... if like me, you feel that TACC is redundant with FSD - go ahead and activate single stoke... update only gives you option to change as and when you want it to bypass TACC and enable FSD on single stoke. so no need to skip...

also worth checking with NZTA on cut-off date... 31st is stop processing new requests or any vehicle registered up until 31st December are eligible for clean car discount? I received my Model Y in September and clean car application took 2 weeks to process.
