Hello all, where can I order the pull cable mechanism? Mine failed miserably after some rain and moisture and I could not open the frunk and I had to break into it through the wheel well.

V5 if im not mistaken.

It’s the black none electrical box. Keep it near the wheeler or well protected from the weather.

I did the wheel well cover and reached for the latch motor and I opened the motor and as soon as I did that the frunk popped open. Now I am dealing with Henshaw to get a replacement.

Give it time and it will stuck to close and won't able to open it.

The car is unlocked and it shows on the nmonitor that it will open then closes right after. Is there a way to unlatch it from under the wheel well?

Here is the long and short of it, I installed a frunk opener couple months ago and it has been working flawlessly and being used regularly. Last night when the wife got home it won't open, you can hear the latch unlatching it just won't pop open. Please help!!!!!! I need to get this...

Why would it eat it up constantly? It only uses the power when you activate the opener.

You are right, I have had cars with shaved door handles and installed pull cable for emergency or system failure. Also sometimes at rare instances pull cable will also create the problem.

Mine works great so far. My kit did not come with a pull cable, I was just wondering if it should have come with one? Installation took me about 3.5 hours, the longest part was taking the strut out on the passenger side and driver side was a breeze after learning from the previous side.

I just did. Sorry to say, but our new MYLR does not have the best suspension. Still love driving the Y regardless.

I agree with the suspension sucking hard, my wifes 2005 Lexus RX330 still rides way better than her current MYLR.
