I’m in the GTA and expecting delivery of my S in two weeks. Unfortunately the Tesla online store has been out of stock of the NEMA 14-50 adapter. Is there a generic adapter that might work? My SA has been unresponsive so I may pay the service centre a visit to see if they have any for sale.

What’s the consensus? My model S is arriving in two weeks and I will be parking my car outside in winter weather. If preheating from the app (or otherwise getting into a cold car), do not use front defroster on high heat setting until the cabin has warmed up?

Unfortunately no, but the one I have on order is also black so this was a way to get psyched prior to delivery…although with the EDD continually changing there was a point where it felt like the die cast was the closest I would get to my S ;)

Haha I appreciate it but I’m two weeks away from delivery day and should be able to replace the die cast model with the real thing soon :)

I have my delivery in two weeks. It was scheduled for 6pm and I requested an earlier one so I could inspect during the day time and my SA had no issues moving it to the morning. Do report back on your delivery experience, would be helpful to know as this would be our first Tesla.

I can confirm no lower rate/discount is available to staff, not for Tesla at least. I received 2.85% (72 months, $65K down) through RBC. Did you get an email re. the lower rate being available or just appeared in the financing details under completed steps?
