Yeah - it is nice to get the roadster loaner, however, many times there is a long wait for it so I opt for Enterprise.

Thank you ! The Charger did show Ground Fault. I tried this few times, and resetting the charger every time, but it didn't work. Let me pay close attention to the code it blinks out, and retry.

My roadster (1.5) is at the service center, and the 2.0 loaner wouldn't charge at home with the original Roadster HPWC. I get the blue flashing LED which turns to solid red after flashing several times. The VDS console shows "External Charger Problem" error. Has anyone seen this issue before...

Thanks.... At this point it seems my options are either go with juicebox or clipper creek. I was talking to the clipper creek guys and they told me there is a 48A charger for home installation coming very soon (possibly end of the month). Depending on how they price it, that may work out.

Thats what I would like to do, bart513 -- but I would still need to buy a 220V Roadster UMC. Currently I only have a 110V charger which is very slow. Also, I can live with a 220V J1772 charger and use it with the CAN - but they don't go over 30A....

I'm interested in buying a 220V Charger for my Roadster - HPC or UMC.... Tesla UMC for Roadster seems perpetually sold out. Model S UMC is only $650 (compared to Roadster HPC). Not sure if there is a connector from Model S to Roadster that may make it worthwhile to pursue that path.
