Hi everyone, received Vin today, ordered 12/25 - 3/1 71 days from OD, reservation 1128, Vin 2445. Question for SoCal folks who received Vin, how long does it take from Vin to delivery? I need to plan since I am planning some trip soon. Is it within 2 weeks? My pick up place will be Irvine.

I found it previously from ordering my MYP is through the chat feature in Tesla main page (where you go to Model X, then there is a chat window at the bottom), click on it. I found that they give the most accurate answer compared to Tesla sales.

I think there is some clause in the tax credit regarding a % of battery made in US etc... It's complicated, I think there is thread talking about it. I am crossing my fingers that the full tax credit is there. 🤞🤞🤞

Yes, you need to apply to become a member (I think by donating to one of their organization $10). Once they create your account, then you can apply for loan. The process of creating account takes about 1 week (sometimes longer). Once you have the account, then you apply for the loan.

Your bank can send the payment directly to Tesla, you just need a picture and tracking number to upload in your account. For your deposit, you can wire transfer or ACH or cashier check. I was panicked at first, but found out the process is very simple.

You have to login to your Tesla account first, then put the link in with your RN#. What I did was copy and paste the link to a document, change to my RN# then copy and paste it into the URL line, it will take you to the edit your order.

I think you can change your existing MYLR to MYP and not paying that much difference (about $5K including taxes). I did that and picked up MYP last week. Best decision ever.

What type of cable are you using? 6AWG or 4AWG? if 6AWG did you use 6AWG THHN wire? I read somewhere that you need to use THHN wire if going with 6AWG regular cable. Just don't know. Planning to connect it this weekend.

Yes, you can use the adapter provided by Tesla to charge at any Charge Point. Just make sure that you are signed up at your work to be able to use it. Some places locked the charger to employees or "Patrons" only.
