I was waiting for some decent changes before replacing my early 2022 MSP but just got a 911 allocation, so I will be going that route for the next one. I may miss the speed and the tech, but we plan to keep the MXP for a while, so we will still have access to it when needed.

That does look different…where are you seeing that? When I configure an S online, I am not seeing the line in the aluminum trim.

I got the replacement kit, but the jars have no paint code on them. I messaged them back to confirm it's PR01, but no reply. Just messaged them again...I am not convinced it's right and can't really tell from looking at it. My chip is for a rock that went through the PPF, so I can't test...

They tried this with me on my S Plaid since it was over a year old, but I pushed back, and they covered it. They told me rattles were only covered in the first year.

I have used Auto Inspections In/Out in Huntersville a few times with Tesla's (3, S, X) with no issues.

Got this kit today and paint code on the jar is PPMR which is multi coat red and not Ultra Red so I suspect the Amazon description is wrong. I have an email into them confirming it’s wrong.

Do you have the 20” or 22” wheels? I have the 20”s and all season tires on our X Plaid and the ride is comfortable to me.

I keep checking the Dr. ColorChip site, and nothing yet. I have a chip I would like to repair as well and can't believe Tesla is still not offering a kit yet.

Do you have HW4? I have the same issue, never prompted to always open to higher height. I assumed it was the same issue as why the front doors don’t fully open on HW4 X’s (software not fully working yet with the newer cars).

I had mine recalibrated by service since this was an issue on mine as well. It’s better but wish it would tilt forward a little more still. Before going in for service, I tried the calibration option in the service menu and it didn’t help so I would suggest scheduling a service appointment. I...

It would help the feature divide but not the size difference. We got a M3P first to test the whole EV experience, and once we decided EVs were for us, I replaced it with an MSP. The model 3 was too small.

Hopefully, they will not be discontinued. I think many S/X buyers would ultimately leave the brand if they do, vs. replacing it with a 3/Y. I want the larger vehicle size the S and X provide and the larger screens, ventilated seats, higher-end interior, etc.

Mine went away also, but I am leaving my mobile appointment since I believe it's related to the recall repair, which is a physical adjustment per the recall notes.

Got the notice yesterday and scheduled a mobile service for the week after next. Based on the error, I don't think it's a software-only update and requires a service visit. I have not had any issues running Autopilot so far, so surprised it needs to be fixed. I assume it's related to this...

I tried that, it didn’t really stay on well and it cut into it pretty quickly.

I used Gyeon Leather Shield on my X Plaid with good results. It's doing a good job of protecting the white seats. You would use the Gyeon leather cleaner first to get them clean (there is a mild and strong version).

I was comfortable with the turn signals within a week. I agree that the horn placement is more of an issue that is not as easy to get used to.

Tried the hammer adjustment, removed the tape and put a foam block back in…been quiet for a couple of days. Will see if stays that way.

If you went with the 22” wheels with performance tires, it would be closer to what you want in handling. I went with the 20’s also since I was ok giving up some handling for comfort and the ability to use in colder weather.

Did it have the 20” or 22” wheels? I find our new X with 20” wheels to be very comfortable.

Really happy with our Ultra Red X w/ white interior. It’s a great color and works well on the X. I like the color so much I am considering replacing my MSM S with a Ultra Red model in the next year.
