Tesla MX third row stuck down

Great video showing the actuator, cable, and gear that cause this to stop working...Not my video and I wish they had recorded ripping the carpet off the seats.

Chances of taking delivery this year?

Placed an order for 2023 MYP, white interior, had a delivery date for yesterday, 12/28, but was called and told the freight train in Wyoming had broken down! Anyone else in Colorado waiting for their delivery in 2022? I was told there were 70 cars delayed.

Can I keep the driver door from auto-presenting with the fob?

Leave Auto Presenting Doors enabled and disable Passive Entry. (Same screen) You can still double click the roof of the FOB to 'self present' the doors for yourself. My wife was getting sick of walking to her S and my X opening the door for her. I love the double click twice to open the door...

    New Denver Service Center

Fantastic news! Evans has to be the worst (skinniest) road to drive. And the Mile High hump to get in and out of their driveway was less than nice to front bumpers.

    Better range after 7.0 upgrade?

Add another 'classic' P85 to the list of vampire loss anomalies. I see the the efficiency increase in actually driving wh/mi ratings, some of the best i've ever seen...But I would be damned to get 40 kWh of use out of an 80% charge! Disclaimer - I do not charge nightly, I drive short distances...

How come the regen doesn't get to the "limit" line?

Are you running with Range Mode on or off? On - I've seen this behavior. Off - Regen is typically always maxed based on speed of course.

    Smart Preconditioning

This should move to a Poll, Does Smart Conditioning work for you? No, I've disabled the feature due to completely random temperatures and times. I checked the app at work the other day and saw the interior was 99 degrees. (I'm in Denver, ya know?) It must have been on for hours. I've also...

    Tracking P85D delivery thread

Production Complete My Tesla updated this morning. Monday told them to put the Standard Leather in the back...Get my delivery done! I sort of enjoy going down to the SC and chatting...That and I'll need my Winter tires removed probably by the time the new leather is ready. (Had to poke a little...

new delivery jump seat, music display, front rear vent cup holder questions..

Now I'm going to go home and try to cram the cover behind the 3rd row seats! It's been cluttering my garage for a year! I didn't want to damage it the couple times I tried, but since it's a dust cover outside the car...I'll give an extra shove.

    Regenerative Shock Absorbers for EVs

Power Generating Shock Absorber - PGSA Hydraulic electromagnetic energy-regenerative shock absorber - HESA Seems to be common acronyms I finally found googling these things after seeing them on StumbleUpon. I can't imagine why putting 2 of these on each wheel, plus the front steering assembly...

    Tesla moments

Our 8-year has a personal automated entry system (3rd row seat, Tech Package)...So he is permanently watching everything going on behind us. "Dad! Their taking pictures again." I truly wish adults could fit back there

2nd Row Cup Holders from Tesla

Bought Tesla Rear Cup Holders today, along with the Floor Liners. Crazy thing is, the $200 Floor Liners are made by WeatherTech, which sell for $249 and say Weathertech, instead of Tesla... So, Cost Justification...Saved $50 for the WeatherTech Liners I wanted, and got the spill-proofing needed...

My First MAJOR problem @ 10,000 km

Sticking with the original thread, a 'Thud" at Highway speed and errors galore flashing up on Saturday...This happened to our P85 over the weekend. Have not heard anything yet, but the Call Center and Denver SC both mentioned High Voltage Battery failure. I'll be interested to see if a new...
