You can purchase a car with just a state ID or a passport so that is not the issue. The problem is you will not be able to transfer or get a license plate without a valid driver's license/ insurance. You will not be allowed to pick up your car without been able to issue a plate.

Good luck with that. Anyone that wants a Rover now that did not placed a deposit prior will be waiting for a long long time. Most Rovers coming out are already reserved to customers.

That is correct. Ordered July 10th 2021 and got the "call" the afternoon of October 18th 2021. Offered to keep same base price and update to 6 seater with a promise of delivery by the end of the year. I also had a VIN assigned at the end of November 2021 and removed the following day.

I got the call promising year end delivery switching to a 6... well we all know that didn't happened but I'm ok with the decision

I called the agent in Ft Lauderdale( you get asked for your zip code). I asked for expected time frame and told me the vehicle is at factory , not leaving anytime soon but expected delivery by the end of the month of December.,

Just spoke to the agent and vehicle is at factory still for sometime. Expected to arrive in Ft Lauderdale by the end of the month. Christmas GIFT!
