Try applying ceramic coating over older faded plastics. They last much longer than wd-40 or back to black.

I bet, I'm originally from New England so I grew up in the worst winters Lol.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

    I NEED a Taco, but I'm stupid and considering a FL5 Type R or a 997 C4S/T4S instead LOL.

    adizon's M3P build thread

Love the variety of cars you have had, a true car enthusiast. Would love to see your Audis as well, especially since I came from VAG cars as well. Although more recently, I'm considering between a FL5 Type R or a 997 C4S/T4S as my next fun car.

Did the OEM TPMS/Valve stems not fit the Advans?

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Firestone Indy 500s are not square at all, they run a bit narrow when I ran 255/35R19s on a set of 19x9.5 HRE FF10s I had on my S4. They are great tires though, didn't have any problems with them. Treadwear was average but grip and feel was pretty good. They are the American version of the JDM...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

All around -2 degrees front and rear for me but when I installed my coils I simply did "pull in" or from our installers stand point, push in the cradle before tightening the 4 bolts as well. The bore for the 4 bolts do give enough tolerance to around -2 degrees. That being said, I'm also...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I commuted about 70-75 miles a day to work as well but switched to the MYP every other day with my wife as I get free charging at work. They lasted me about 20k miles which is why I switched to the Falken all seasons which does have longer treadwear. The Advans were sticky but terrible treadwear...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Just switched from my 255/35R19 Advan Apex V601s to my 265/35R19 Falken FK460s and they did not have any inner camber wear on them.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I'm on factory camber arms running less than -2 degrees front and rear with 19x9.5 et25 front 19x9.5 et22 rears both with 265/35R19s.
  15. C

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

18x9.5 et22 should go up to a 255/40R18 That will likely have the best fitment for you and fill the gap a bit. You could opt for 57DRs in 19x9.5 et25 like I have on my car but I'm also running 265/35R19s.

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

I have the same experience as well. Initially the clunk happened only when turning the wheel left or right once from an initial stop. Once it was in motion, it never happened again. Now, it's completely gone and don't have any issues. Ride is comfortable even at my ride height. I maybe would...

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

I'm curious as well what type of issues are coming from the Flex Zs. I love my MPP Comfort Adjustables on my MYP though.

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

Never actually. The Flex-Zs ride soooo well. With the 265s it also has so much more tire that it never gets to that point. I need a matching front lip now but afraid it would rip off. The rear diffuser already touches my driveway leaving it when I pull out. I just need different wheels now.

    Falken Azenis FK460 A/S Tires Preliminary Review - '21 Model 3 Performance

I love these tires for my setup. I am running a 265/35R19 on my 19x9.5 et25 Gram Lights and absolutely love them. I find them to be better than my previous tires which were ultra sticky, 255/35R19 Yokohama Advan Apex V601s.

19x9.5 et25 but I'm running a 3mm spacers in the rear. Hoping to sell my 57DRs eventually after I switch to another set of Volks. Looks like you're local to me too. I'm in the Pleasanton, San Ramon area a lot.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Absolutely in love with them. Great grip, comfortable and quiet. The Advans I had prior were super loud in comparison.

Supercharger - Hayward, CA - Mission Blvd. (in permitting, Feb 2021)

The superchargers are at Jackson by Safeway. They have yet to be turned on yet but looks like they are good to go. I doubt Tesla will have another set of S/Cs at Mission and Harder.

    Raceland Coilovers

Not trying to through any shade at Racelands, but we have all been there at one point growing up when we could barely afford car parts but want to lower our cars. Definitely affordable as they are sub 500 dollar coilovers but they will not last. Base Racelands and even their Ultimo line are...

Tried to upgrade the interior feel a bit by adding the brown alcantara dash cover. Next up is likely a matte cf steering wheel.

Is the new Macan EV a MY killer?

Yes, Porsche does have a lot of top tier vehicles that are not shared anywhere else in the line up, however since the mid 2010s, there are a whole lot more parts sharing than you would think. My SQ5 has many components that are interchangeable with that generation Macan. From suspension...

Is the new Macan EV a MY killer?

If that's the case with it being NCAS, I maybe back with VAG family on the next purchase of an EV. I've kind of grown up in the VAG family starting with multiple VWs before jumping into multiple Audis. Porsche would be the next step. One of the few reasons I went with Tesla over previous...

Is the new Macan EV a MY killer?

The Macan EV is not a direct competitor to the Model Y, that being said, it is still badge engineered and very similar to other VAG products like the E-Tron S from Audi. Macans in previous generations are closely related to the Audi Q5/SQ and share many of the same components. The Macan "Turbo"...

    Clun9's MYP Build Thread

Aspira 15mm fronts and 20mm rears for the stock Uberturbines. Half way for compression and dampening stiffness. Rides amazing. As for height, its all the way down in the rear with a balance between left and right. Fronts are not but leveled to match the rear height.

I'm trying to stay Bronze Lol! Look at the color contrast difference between the Bronze on my Sq5 and the Blast Bronze on my MYP.

I should have gone Bronze instead of Blast Bronze: Blast Bronze is so much harder to clean compared to Bronze LOL.

Smaller wheels with bigger sidewalls would help. The 21" Uberturbines run stretched tires from factory even though its mild. I'm running 275/40R20s on my 20x10s and there is just so much more sidewall.

    Clun9's MYP Build Thread

Just wanted to create a build thread for my MYP to document the process. Hated the stock MYP ride height and mediocre suspension tuning. Went with MPP Comfort Adjustable Coilovers and lowered it pretty quickly. Also wasn't too happy with how far the OEM staggered 21' Uberturbines sat in the...
