I see now some significant number of 14-day windows converted to 28-day or 30-day windows and EDD's pushed out. Wondering if there is a supply issue on Tesla's end.

Interestingly not here in my area. The most I see is Blue and MSM. I was considering MSM but went with White since that color had the majority vote in our family :)

It’s not only Netflix or other apps loading faster. With the current (old) Intel Atom chip, users have been reporting screen or camera blackouts or freezing. Frankly speaking that is the only reason why I hope that my VIN comes with the new chip

Agreed, if you are not in a hurry and can wait, it will not hurt to put a hold for 30 days.

Can't you reject your current VIN without a hold, i.e., move to the next VIN which might have the AMD processor?

Looks like this is both vehicle and location based. In my case, best offer right now is from vroom and the worst trade-in offer is from tesla. The order is like this vroom > carvana > carmax > driveway > tesla

Maybe they have new distance rules and while you qualified last time you did not this time. A lot of talk here on this forum regarding the new Ryzen processor and the current (old) Intel Atom processor. Did you encounter any issues/slowness/blacked out camera with your current SR+ ?

Just received the trade-in offer from Tesla and it is about $3K lower than Carvana. So I will either sell to Carvana or privately when the time comes. No VIN and no change in my EDD as of today showing Jan 21 - Feb 4

The consensus is that Tesla can cancel your order if you are past 90 days from your order date.

In the same boat, I got the text yesterday, my EDD is still the same today as Jan 21 - Feb 4. Just to get an idea, I provided them my VIN for the trade-in but at the end I might most likely end up trading in to Carvana, let's see.

Anyone still checking the page source of their order page and search for the VIN? In my case it still shows as VIN=null.

The 12V Li-Ion battery update is available for AWD as well.

Though to be fair, other car manufacturers also do/did some updates mid-model year that we are/were not aware of unless you follow forums like these.

I see, thanks for the feedback. My order date is Oct 23, which means the 90 day window is ending on Jan 23. Well, I am not planning to put another hold anyways (my 1st and only hold expired Dec 31).
