Yeah, took it to a local guy who polished my car + added ceramic coating afterwards. He said he went to a local detail shop and asked for the strongest chemical they had to remove water spots and even that didn't work. To be clear, he did remove the spots from the rest of the car just not the...
I’ve had my ‘22 Model 3 LR for over a year and most of that time I was a dumb dumb and washed with super hard water at my house (well water) without properly drying. I’ve since purchased a hose faucet filter.
Recently I got an exterior detail and ceramic coating for $700 and unfortunately even...
OK. By the way, I tried a Sandisk drive and it couldn't handle the read/writes and broke. Ordered a replacement for free and just gave it to my mom to use.
Also just had a Torklift hitch installed and I get "Park Assist Unavailable". None of my normal sensor beeping warnings (on screen and auditory) work anymore.
Oh damn. I think $1100 is a nice deal for partial, but yes the woman said a lot of people end up wanting full front afterwards. I just don't want to shell out $2100 for it.
Ended up getting the loan finished the morning of delivery and then showing up an hour late. No problems. And yes, first payment not due until April. Thanks!
From what I've gathered, you don't pay the downpayment until you arrive in-person and have inspected your car. Then, you hand in the certified check with the paperwork. The first loan payment doesn't become due until around 30 days after delivery.
Is this true? I've been trying to get a hold of my bank guy for a week or more and he's either not answering the phone or out of the office. I managed to get him the info and he said he would pull my credit and get back to me on rates. That was last Friday... My delivery is this Saturday and...
Hey don't get mad at us for putting on hold when Tesla can't get EDDs right. If they're gonna keep pushing it back and changing, then how are we supposed to be prepared to take delivery ahead of time EVERY time.
PS....Palladium is the future.....
Nice. I will take off hold on Saturday the 26th, haha. I'm HOPING I don't get delivery scheduled until the week after the next when I'm actually back in town... we'll see. If it gets scheduled for the following week I'll call and try one more attempt at having them hold it for several more days.
Yeah I just called up and they removed the VIN and put me on hold for something like 30 days max. I think I'll plan on taking it off hold 2 weeks ahead of when I'm actually ready. Not sure yet.
First off, I'm still open to any Model 3 single-bike hitch rack recommendations, but it seems the Stealth Hitch is probably the best way to go. So I'm now in the process of locating shops to get extra work done (PPF, tints, etc.), and I'm having some trouble finding a place to do a Stealth Hitch...
Fwiw: I got my VIN today and called to put on hold for early March. Even though delivery window is currently Feb 17-21, they still had me release this car and get in line for a new VIN. So at this point I will have a "I'm Ready Now" button that I can press to get my car when I'm available in...
Honestly I’m not so sure about that. I think I would benefit more from avoiding the excess interest than building my credit like that. Paying off within the first year would be ideal, especially without rent/utilities to pay.
I have an offer signed for a job, but don't start obviously until May next year after I graduate. It's a great salary, and I don't want to move quite yet so I'll commute from home. This is 180 miles round trip, hence why I am seriously wanting to purchase a Model 3 LR (for self-driving highway...
I heard the new announcement on LFP for the SR+, and it's got me curious about two things before I make a Model3 purchase in the next 6 months. I will have a 180 mile roundtrip commute for work, so I was thinking I'd definitely go with the Model3 Long Range since Virginia winters can be freezing...
