@Tooleman694 100% agree. When I spoke with a rep yesterday I asked about the. EDDs, "should I just take these with a grain of salt, as I am trying to make life/travel plans," he didn't have a good answer.

@Corndart read my history. I didn't place the hold, Tesla did it because I couldn't take delivery.

I've met my SA in-person, he helped me with the test drive in SoDo. His replies to me are also very casual/plain, so I have to assume it's him, even if he doesn't even remember me.

In all seriousness, I'm impressed you got this specific information from the Tesla Reps. I tried calling twice back in November and they were not helpful. Both times the rep gave no clarity to my situation, offered to call me back, and never called back.

Well this gives me hope...... that my EDD will move from Dec ->> Jan/Feb 😆😭😩

@motoroo your order was 2020?? Really? Were you forced to release hold (similar to others recently)? I was originally going to guess you'll get bumped to Jan, but if your order date is from 2020 then I'm actually thinking they'll try and make you take delivery ASAP.

welp no update this morning, no VIN assigned yet. I am now betting that later this week (by this Friday or this Saturday) my EDD will slip back to Jan/Feb. Followed next week by another EDD update to 12/2X-12/31. Why does Tesla do this to us. 😵‍💫

why is 7 seater the issue? Is it known/reported that the third row is causing delays?

Don't do anything yet, would suggest just wait. There's a fair chance EDD slips back in to 2022, either Jan or Feb. In the event your VIN is assigned then text/message your SA and ask to put the order on hold.
