I don't even see that as an option. I think you would have to reject vehicle or put delivery on hold which you can only do once.

Looks like Tesla is going the 7 day hold route even if MVPA says longer since my order is older than 90 days.

How does it work when they mention 30 days on the order agreement but they mention to take delivery within 3 days? What if it hasn't been 30 days from when the VIN was assigned?

I just received a vin for EDD Nov first week delivery. If my goal is to delay delivery till 2023, would the best approach be to reject car once I get assigned the 3 days to pick it up? I’ve already been told I can’t put it on hold due to original EDD May.

I'm in a similar boat as OP. Let us know how it goes as Tesla won't allow me to put my order on hold. They replied with "We cannot offer a hold or delay as your initial delivery was May 2022"

I think you just have to give them the tesla account you created when placing the order so they can change the name/details.
