Selling Model S, how does the app change to new owner

I'm preparing to sell my Model S and wanted to confirm a couple of timing details. I have a seller traveling in from out of town and, after signing over the title, they'll be driving the car home (~4 hour drive) where they will then register the car with their local BMV the following day. How do...

    Tempest wheel cover replacement

Refreshed Model S Longe Range - Real World Range Test?

A structured test would be one that captures the specifics of the route such as MPH, temp, elevation, wind, etc. with a 100%-0% range result. Something similar to InsideEvs: What's The Real World Highway Range Of Today's Electric Cars? We Test To Find Out or Edmunds: EV Range Test Roundup: How...

Refreshed Model S Longe Range - Real World Range Test?

Does anyone have a link to real world range test for the refreshed Model S Long Range? I've found several tests for the Plaid, and other articles with Long Range estimates, but I'm trying to find 100% to 0% distance results from a structured test.

Driver's door trim bump...is this normal?

Does everyone else have this lump in the driver's side window trim? The outer trim doesn't fit well over it so I thought I'd check. I've had a service request in since Feb to attempt to adjust the outer trim so that it lines up with the rear door trim but the service call keeps getting pushed out.

Passenger Phone Key Sets Driving Position

My wife and I both use phone keys in our refreshed MSLR but she is often the first one to the car after leaving a restaurant or store. Because of this, when she taps the passenger handle to get in (the handles never auto open with our phones for some reason) it then sets the driver profile to...

Was the refreshed MSLR only tested in warm weather climates?

I'd swear that the refreshed MSLR was only tested in warm weather climates. Since taking delivery 60 days ago, almost every time that I drive any significant distance in snow/sleet it's a disappointing experience that shouldn't be tolerated in a $30k car, much less a $100k car. Today in light...

Anyone Else Experiencing Regular 21" Arachnid Tires "Thumping" Loudly When Turning While Backing Up?

I haven't changed out my 19's for the Arachnids yet, but my 911 does this as well. It's called the Ackerman effect and the wide wheels + Arachnid summer tires seem to be the culprit. The good news is that it only does it when it's cool/cold out but it goes away once the temps rise. It happens...

Radar Removed from Model S now too...

Will the existing Model S with radar continue to use it or will it be disabled for vision only now?

Use voice to search for a business to call!

    Very helpful...thanks!

Use voice to search for a business to call!

Is there a voice command to look up a business and then call it, similar to Google Assistant? An example would be "call Joe's deli" where it searches for the business online then calls? My phone can do this but I was hoping to use the Tesla steering wheel voice button.

    Rain and light sensor issue

I was driving my 2022 Model S today in wet conditions & the wipers wouldn't auto activate regardless of me changing settings so I had to manually activate each time. They've activated in the past so I'm wondering if the sensor area needs cleaned. Where is the sensor located?

poor wiper performance for refreshed Model S (windshield wiper nozzle issue)

My passenger wiper & washer are abysmal in cold wet weather as well. I'm constantly trying to time the washer to spray water at the top of the window but it just ends up leaving streaks.

    Bouncy Suspension Model S

Had a P90D loaner this week and it had a significantly better ride than my 2022 S. On the bumpy road near my house the P90D absorbed the bumps while the 2022 bounces over them and feels unsettled. My wife also noticed this as the passenger. I assume the recent update that allows for suspension...

    Turn off Autosteer chime?

This is incorrect when using Autosteer in my car, a refreshed Model S
  17. G

What is the reason Teslsa replace the steering wheel with a yolk?

I somewhat agree. I had a P90D service loaner today and REALLY liked having a regular steering wheel & gear stalk when making a 3 pt turn into my garage. That being said, it made me appreciate how comfortable the wide flat bottom of the yolk is to rest my hand on during highway driving vs. a...

    Turn off Autosteer chime?

Is there any way to turn off the Autosteer chime? It drives my wife crazy when I'm changing lanes on the highway and it continually chimes every time it disengages/reengages. Our other older cars allow Autosteer to remain active when changing lanes so I don't understand why Tesla can't provide...

Power frunk coming for 2021+ Model S

The thing I hate about the funk is that it's not flat...it's sloped downward so your pizza topping would all slide to one side by the time you got home. Stupid design.

    Dash Trim Crease

That was my general thought as well...the problem with these little issues is that once you see them you can't "unsee" them 😀

    Dash Trim Crease

Just picked up my MSLR today & it seems to be built pretty well. I have a couple of trim alignment issues that I've requested service for and also have this crease in the trim under the screen. Has anyone else had this fixed? I'm wondering if I'm being too picky but it's definitely noticeable.

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

I just picked up my MSLR today and am also feeling this cold draft on my legs. Mine seems to be coming from the bottom center of the door so I've scheduled service to have it looked at. My door trim is also slightly higher (misaligned) than the rear door so I'm wondering if this is the issue.

2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

I'm RN115861143. I didn't request an inventory vehicle...it just showed up in the app as the vehicle VIN assigned. I'll definitely be doing the checklist. Do the delivery people wait while I inspect the car or do I just report any defects via the app the day of delivery?

2021 Tesla Model 3 BLE TPMS sensors for

I've got the 21" arachnids on my Model S and bought a set of OEM 19's on ebay with all seasons for winter and they don't come with TPMS. I'll probably only need to use the 19's for a couple of months so wanted to see if I could get by without TPMS. I also have a Lucid on order so this may be the...

Thanks for the quick response @diamond.g. I've got a Model S coming, and was hoping this wasn't the case, but I'll give it a try. I wish they would move to a touch sensitive steering wheel that doesn't require the intermittent torque, like what Mercedes and BMW have, as it feels less intrusive...
