Luton V4 "button" on plug does not work

I was at Luton on Saturday night and noticed the exact same thing. Also noticed that a few of the chargers were out of action but still showing ok in the app. The last V4 I used up in Scotland the other month worked fine.

    Hows your adaptive high beam?

Yep was doing similar for me. Was very interesting to see it working its magic - especially in very heavy rain. So far, so big tick

    Hows your adaptive high beam?

Had the 2024.8.7 update for a week or so and today was the first day the car really put adaptive high beam to the test. So far so good i think. On a 80ish mile journey with it on for most of the time, i didn't get flashed once - so must be a positive right? On a dark road with hedges either side...

    Interesting BBC article

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-66866327 Interesting article on the BBC today. Fairly balanced too, I have to say. Would've loved the fire services mentioned to give the number of vehicle fires in total though, EV and otherwise

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

I was there last week and still no change. It's not the nicest of sites but perfectly placed for me so use it regularly. Definitely a case of trucks reversing from what i saw

    OEM apps

Oh really? I didn't realise it was chargeable. Thats nuts. How much?

    OEM apps

Nothing directly Tesla related but so gobsmacked at how appauling the Peugeot app is that I have to share. I have MY and have always loved the app. My Kia e-niro app is poor but does the basics. Just took delivery of a 23 plate e-208 and WOW (in a bad way) I've been told that through the app...

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

This is very interesting and well needed for off-motorway charging in that area. Any indication on number of stalls or too early?

    Banning EV's from multi-storeys *sigh*

And the newer multi storeys I don't see any issues with. They seem to be built now with wider spaces Q Park in particular i find are very good (or the ones i've been in anyway). With older structures maybe it's a case of less spaces = less revenue. I'd imagine though it's just not really caring...

    Banning EV's from multi-storeys *sigh*

Oh definitely. I can't disagree that extra weight won't be good for the older structures but to point out EV's with no mention of equally heavy ICE cars is just more fuel (no pun intended) for the anti-EV brigade
  11. C

    Banning EV's from multi-storeys *sigh*

Nah this one is about weight. Fire hazard was another one 😄

    Banning EV's from multi-storeys *sigh*

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/electric-cars-parking-design-uk-b2352900.html Here we go again! This kind of anti-EV rubbish is getting worse and worse. Don't buy an EV because soon you won't be allowed in car parks. The entire structure of the car park will be compromised by...

    Loosing maps / satellite imagery

This is happening a lot to me too. I've had Tesla's for 5 years now and the last month or so is the worst it's ever been. Glad to hear it's happening to other's too. This happens all over, including where LTE connection is perfect so I'm not sure what's going on

Wiki Everything you wanted to know about Intelligent Octopus But Were Afraid To Ask

Hi all, I know this has been covered before but there's so many pages and so many answers. We have two EV'S - One Tesla and One Kia. We phoned Octopus today and asked if we can have two cars, answer was no. I can't see how Octopus would know if i'm charging another car by taking advantage of...

    Maps Data

Resolved in the latest update thankfully

    Maps Data

True. Hoping it's an oversight that they resolve in the next update. It's bloody annoying

    Maps Data

Has anyone suddenly had this annoying wording appear in the bottom of the screen? Wasn't there early today and just turned the car back on and its there

    Two Phone Keys

Can a Y have two phone keys attached? I've set up two key cards and two phones; one of each for my partner and I. In my 3 i never had issues with just my phone connected but now i have connected two, mine doesn't work at all when it comes to unlocking the door on walk up, but my partners phone...

    Few issues after delivery

Yeah i've done the reboot and power off to no avail unfortunately. I'm used to a niggle-free Model 3 and realise how lucky i was there! 😀

    Few issues after delivery

I've opened a service appointment to try and sort these issues but wondering if anyone has ever come across them? Had an issue with my car on the app due to no driver been assigned. When i phoned Tesla (50 minute wait nowadays -wow) they said it seemed to be stuck in delivery mode. The lease...

UK 2022 Orders to Delivery inc the shipping thread for posts with no shipping news

Just had my delivery text for MY LR White 19". 8th December. No USS though :(

    Model Y UK Delivery

Ordered my White MY in very early July through lease. Phoned Tesla today and told me it shouldve been november delivery but no VIN is allocated and due to a shortage of ships its likely to now be late December/early January and definitely won't have USS

    CC distsnce between cars

If this has already been discussed elsewhere then apologies. Has anyone noticed since the last update that when using cruise control/autopilot/whatever its name you can no longer set the distance between cars to 1, its now either 2 or 3 only?

Maps Display - is it just me?

I noticed this too. I also noticed that when the screen switches to night/dark view, the map defaulted to the non-satellite image to make the whole thing darker. Mine never did this before but it does make sense

    Disney+ UI

Anyone else seeing that Disney+ is very buggy? Compared to Netflix and even Youtube it seems very, very laggy and not wanting to respond. Is this just me?

Tesla open up the SuC network [in UK]

Indeed! So the supercharger would know you're not plugging in a Tesla even if its on an account that has a Tesla attached to it? Makes sense i suppose, the Superchargers are smart enough to 'speak' to the car to identify it so i suppose it would naturally know its not a Tesla

Tesla open up the SuC network [in UK]

I think this is just going to be a case of 'let's see what happens'. I was on the Supercharger team call with Tesla the other month and their reasoning and logic seemed sound. It's not a case of throwing everything open at once, it's a case of analysing the data and making informed decisions...

    [UK] 2022.12.x

I noticed the exact same thing after the update. I changed it from Sport to comfort to standard and all feel lighter. Something has definitely been updated.

    Green number plates on non-BEV'S

Wanting to show you're part of the cause without being part of the cause? 🤣
  30. C

    Green number plates on non-BEV'S

Very true. The dodgy number plates, green or otherwise, that you see and no one cares. RAV4 and Outlander PHEV's. Obviously more important things in the world by far but annoying never the less
  31. C

    Green number plates on non-BEV'S

Not necessarily a Tesla question but today while out I've seen two non-BEV cars with 'green' number plates. Please tell me the UK government hasn't allowed PHEVs to have these?? It's clearly a first world problem but really bugged me. If you put petrol in it, it's not electric..simple

    Model Y UK version

Hi guys, Quick question for anyone in the know. Will the Model Y in the UK have external speakers so the Boombox feature and the upcoming Sentry Mode Live can be utilised? I know in Europe the requirement for EV's to have a pedestrian warning system came into force some months ago so assuming...
