The more reading and data points I get, the less I know about their “system”. I’m still well within my original EDD so I don’t have much to complain about, but I would be extremely aggravated in your position. Hopefully your number will be drawn out of the hat soon.

From my understanding the 3 day window is when they have an actual delivery date set up for you. If I am remembering correctly, the 30 day window is available after your get your VIN assigned. It’s all confusing and it seems to vary with what SA you talk to so who knows.

That is a rough read. Hopefully everything goes quick but that response would not give me great confidence

Awesome! Gives a fellow AZ resident with Order date of Oct 28th with a current EDD of December 1-16th some hope. I want to reach out to my SA to get an update on everything but don’t want to be “that guy” until at least reaching my EDD window.

What was you’re original EDD when you ordered? I understand constant updates, especially negative ones, are frustrating but are you already past your original EDD?

I haven’t seen how bad my credit was effected from the first pull yet. I’m not necessarily concerned with not getting approved again, I just don’t want to change the terms I was already approved at.

Just to add to all the other legitimate reasons listed, I ignorantly (and with a bit of a push from my SA) applied for my financing way too early in the process and will have to reapply and rerun my credit multiple times again if I delay into the new year. Sure it probably financially is still...

Strangely I’ve had my EDD shrink to a 2 week window for the first time today. Went from EDD of December 1-29th to December 1-15 this morning.

Still showing EDD of December 1-29th. My original EDD on my order date (10/28) was December 15-31st up until the recent change the app and order page went through a few days ago.

Pretty sure until 2023 all “credits” will be Tax refunds at the end of the year so shouldn’t have anything to do with lease vs finance

I am not the expert as I haven’t done so yet, but from what I have gathered you do keep your same price (as long as you don’t change any config). The bigger question to me is what happens to your place in the queue. I have read people getting completely conflicting answers on this from their SA’s.

Fully aware that I got myself in this position, but I haven’t been this conflicted on what to do with my M3LR EDD of December 1-29th. With my luck I will put it on hold, no bill will pass and I will be out a car until May-June next year.

You must have picked up a vechicle that someone put on hold or had to cancel. But I still can’t imagine how there was no others in your area that didn’t have the same spec far further ahead of you on the list. Very strange. Might want to go buy a lottery ticket tonight while you’re at it.

Agreed. Seems like a LOT of hassle to save just a bit of money. (The difference in the two cars not the possible 8.5k) Not to mention possibly having a new credit check and/or loan account on your record. Zero plans to take delivery and sell but I am having a hard time debating to take delivery...

Unless you are assigned actual delivery date (not just EDD) or have a car available before December 2 2021 you could theoretically still delay your delivery and be within the 30 day delivery window given in the ToS right?
