Probably classed as off topic but we used Scotch Corner twice this weekend. No queueing but only got 60kw/h from the SC. Momentarily upto 90 when the car next to us left. That was with preconditioning and 10%. Think I was hoping for better/ faster. On the upside saw a new LHD X.

Thanks for the above. Not so sure what the status is re charging in York, and won't have a load of time to horse about trying and failing. Hence the keep it simple idea!! If the trip goes smoothly I could juice up at scotch corner there and back, or if we are in York on "fumes" then Harrogate...

Hopefully not too much off topic. We are heading to York this weekend from Scotland. I wondered how busy the Harrogate super chargers tend to be? Small diversion to fill up to the brim and head home when we leave. Avoids the Sunday Tebay rush. Maybe!! Anyone? Anyone?

I can only see £550 a month on Tesla with £5k down. Plus then you're paying your own tyres and insurance .

I guess the main potentially huge variable is the tax bracket you fall in. Probably should compare gross to have apples v apples. MY LR is 846 gross for 48m/7.5k no options as above

Am I being daft? My app now says delivery scheduled, I have a vin and a reg, but when I click on delivery scheduled there is no date for when it is scheduled, it just says my address, which I know already!!

200 miles on an electric tank is easy, even on a road trip at minus 4. As mentioned, biggest problem is you can only fit 35% recharge in the cheap 4 hours of octopus charging.

it took me a while to roughly work out that I think I’ve got an approx 80kw batt. 7kw per hour for 4 hours. 28kw. 35% So I move the charge limit to whatever it’s on plus 35. I’ve occasionally forgotten! Or left it at 65% when I’ve been charging elsewhere and come back expecting a fully charged...

Surely there was a problem, in that the Tesla supercharger at that location doesn’t charge non Tesla cars. So the Porker shouldn’t have been there taking up any space at all. If it had worked on non Tesla, then fine, OP would’ve had to suck it up.
