    MYP UK Waiting Room

Took the Model Y P out for a test drive today and IMHO it was a softer drive than my Model Y which I took ownership of in March.

UK bike rack recommendations for MY

Just my opinion, but I have found that using the old plastic tyres levers the best non-damaging (scratches/dents in the plastic) method to remove the plastic cover to access the tow-bar.

Tesla open up the SuC network [in UK]

Have to agree with you. Was at Supercharger a few weeks ago and a nice couple had their brand new BMW EV, and they were complaining that there are not enough charging options for non Tesla EV and all they wanted was access to the supercharger network. Until the UK Govt approve more charger...

Genuinely like my Anderson A2, but this morning woke up to see that it can't connect to the Wi-Fi. The Access Point is 4 meters away from the charger & can confirm it is connected to the network (can ping it). Completed the network reset and the app said it was a successful configuration. Then...

    Preconditioning for Supercharger...

It was interesting as at the start of the journey it estimated 20% of charge when arrived at the SC so suspect it didnt include conditioning and this comes into consideration later based on how much energy you have consumed aka your driving style.

Model Y Trailer 7 Pin to 13 Pin Adapter

Used the 13/7 converter, which is the twist type, and it worked (photos attached). The twist is not a full turn but was secure, and my light board worked, and the trailer light came on the display. It is raining so didn't do multiple tests, but noticed that the trailer light needed to be...

Model Y - Blind Spot Camera when indicating

I am a fan of the blind spot cameras coming on when you indicate (v11), but IMO it would be more effective if the gear lever and signal stalks were swapped round so that when you use the indicator stalk your hand is not blocking the camera view on the screen. What are the odds of them moving...

Is PPF and Ceramic worth it?

This is what I said, "After your pride and joy has been detailed, the "snake oil" treatment as you call it is just £100 extra". I never said or implied that the entire treatment was a £100, in actual fact if you go to the beginning of the thread a link to the detailer and prices was provided.

    Selling your existing car

WBAC and others need to sell the car on, with a profit, so if you need the max sale figure then AT is probably the way forward for you. My ICE BMW was brought by a dealer last week via Motorway, and they have only marked it up £4k which is similar to what the data is saying for your car
