My impression is that they’ve tried to declutter the main screen, to make it less messy/distracting. But they’ve ended up pissing off many that are used to the cluttered screen. What I personally like the most about it is the current speed closer to the edge of the screen, making it easier to see.

Thanks! I just collected mine from Thorpe Park as well, and as I suspected, no front USB ports/Wireless Charging functionality. Currently supercharging at the Heathrow Hilton Superchargers.

If you have a long enough cable I guess you can use the back seat USB port 🤔

Everyone I’ve seen collecting or receiving delivery this week hasn’t had the Wireless charging and front USB ports installed. I guess this means I definitely won’t have them when I pick up tomorrow ☹️

I got contacted and I am picking up from Thorpe Park. However I didn't get any earlier dates than what I saw the first time I booked an appointment. I ended up changing it to the 16th of December(I initially picked the 18th).

I was also expecting it 7-14 days prior to delivery, but I just got a text with my VIN and registration now, and I’m not due for pickup till the 18th of December. So I guess it can vary even more wildly.

It was a text with a link to the schedule page. The page had a calendar with the available dates clickable.

I got the schedule delivery text the next evening. But that's no guarantee; they are very inconsistent with their comms.

Have a look at the extension for Google Chrome: Tesla VIN finder . It'll notify you if there's a VIN hidden in the source code of the Tesla web page you are looking at.

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that you can move the collection date by a week, after which they allocate your car to someone else. In any case it's worth giving them a call. Hope it works out for you.

I used this web page to decode my VIN. There's a dropdown to select between motors and the K motor specifically references China, while the B motor doesn't. Other than that, not sure of any difference.

Mine is B. Not sure what it means though.

I got my VIN on the same day as you. A few folks here have said GRAND DAHLIA. I haven't confirmed from anyone at Tesla so I don't know how definite this is.

Some people scheduled their delivery by generating a URL for their order using this format: https : // tesla.com/ en_GB/ schedule/ RNXXXXXXXXX

My plan is to check early next week, between Monday and Wednesday (I got told allocations are currently happening 3 times a week by a Tesla CS, and based on the dates I've seen in this thread those days seem most likely). If I don't have a VIN by then I'm going to resign myself to February/March...

I’m in a similar boat, I ordered on the 31st. I called Tesla CS and all I got was that if I don’t hear anything by the end of the month, then I’m looking at a February/March delivery 🤷🏾‍♂️

I ordered on the 31st too. The dates only changed about 2 days after so I’m also hoping it doesn’t get pushed to February.
