There's a special place in hell for this company. They have zero regard for the fact they block chargers that some other people plan to use or rely on. I had to buy their stupid pass just so I could move their dumb cars and charge.

Well realistically, AZ is really, really hard on batteries. Crappy time for it to go out, but not out of the norm. My experience is that the average car battery in AZ is lucky to last longer than 24 months. Hopefully the family had a good time regardless!

The charge rates definitely averaged by some factor. Unplug at 210~ rated and then plug back in and you'll see. But you're right, charge times really aren't that bad, especially if you have something to do.

I have this same rack on my car and I'm sure many others do, but not only does it look good (I think), it's very quiet and sturdy. Well worth the money, and you can't complain about saving a few bucks buying it second hand.

I've done this like 4 times without a single problem (minus one issue). 1) You can make it directly to the Holbrook supercharger and bypass Flagstaff unless you have a reason to go there. I live just east of Shea and the 101 and I can make it to Holbrook with about 30 miles of range remaining...

Depending upon what part of PHX, going to Holbrook through Payson is no sweat in a 85. I can make it either way to the 101 and Shea with at least 40 miles of range, carrying a bunch of weight and a roof rack with snowboards. Be careful though, the tesla nav tries to send you south of Heber...

This supercharger is superfrustrating. I don't understand why this one is being built prior to say Casa Grande? Maybe it's a permitting or approval issue, but Phoenix -> Flagstaff is totally doable in a 85 at this point, but you can't make it too far south.

A word of warning about Gallup. This town has some of the worst roads I've ever seen. On a trip here two weeks ago I hit a pot hole on US491 in the middle of the night and destroyed a tire. You can bet none of the tire stores here had a 21 inch tire. THANK GOD FOR TESLA RANGER SERVICE!

You're right, my bad. Here's what was funky, car has air suspension but no tech package.

Here's the moroney for this car. I owned the car for about a 40 day period, it drove fine, charged fine, but as you can imagine, it's really lacking - no air suspension, no tech package, no pano roof, funky interior color, etc. It is absolutely not a Signature car.

Avoid at all costs. They damaged my car (put a nasty ding in it) right in front of me. I was pretty cool about it until they all started pretending it did not happen.

You just end up with a "Maps" button instead of "Nav" and you don't get any sort of turn by turn directions.

I covered basically the same distance (i17/i10 interchange) to Flagstaff super charger - 144 mile trip. Went 70-75 whole way and arrived with 19 miles of range..
