Just to update, the Portland Tesla would not accept a POA. We decided to title the car in my son's name and transfer title to us later. (We do not pay sales tax in Michigan if buying the car from a relative.)- yoyo_jody

My son is taking delivery of a new 2022 model Y in Oregon and titling it with me (his mother). I live in Michigan. Tesla in Portland says that I must be there to sign the registration and while I want to go visit my son, airfares on short notice are more expensive. I asked if there was a DMV...- yoyo_jody
