We are running same size tire and same track mode settings and have not experienced your issue to date. Tires are 660 Falkens

Does a Model 3 performance with a heat pump cause the batteries to overheat sooner on track use....than one without heat pump?

I was thinking XSA as there are no other EV’s running here. And T my first event here this year the fellow managing the pax data assigned EVX a factor of 1.0. I objected and at least this week he now recognizes the EVX factor now.

I missed that exclusion. Thanks for the heads up. I am a rule follower typically, I will move to EVX and run by myself for PAX.....I guess.

I understand that the XS classes is a run what you brung class....with a street legal car, with an interior and 200 tw tires. I did ask the solo events board about my Tesla in XSA and they have not answered my question yet. Until then, our club does not seem to care for now.

the seller I purchased them from says maybe at most 4000 miles. I do not believe they were ever used on the track. I was going to autocross my car in SS.....but ended up going to the EVX class so that I could legally install the adjustable front control arms to get more negative camber.

I am curious here. My Falkens are 275/35R19.......which per the tire rack site are 26.6" over all diameter and the OEM tire on my M3P which were 235/35-20 at 26.5"......that should be close enough to not be a contributor to these issues. I have yet to run an autocross as first one here is not...

Unless I am missing something being new to the Tesla....there are three choices Super Street, A Street Prep, or EVX. and maybe XSA.....but that Peachey fellow in the corvette is obscenely fast.

so.....where in the SCCA rules say a Tesla is not allowed in XSA? We have a huge group of those here in my region. In fact that is where I ran last year in my Audi TTS.

Both guys here have PDK's. An amazing gearbox!! I had a PDK Boxster S a few years back.

Think SCCA would begin to consider moving us to AS?
