TPMS disable / delete on Model S 2012 to late 2014 "Baolong"

Ok, I'll have to research that. Didn't see anything of the sort mentioned but it might be undocumented features or something in some certain fork of it only.

TPMS CONTINUES TO FAIL... [RANT] And they are gonna send people the mars?

BTW, I did another thread on this subject on the Model S side, for Model S specific things.

    That TPMS issue, summarized

Hi, I resurrected the topic on the Model S side with a new summary and plan, since this affects me directly and I'm fed up with TPMS issues, so thanks to @scotty2541 base research it should be downright straight-forward to implement a TMPS-faker device now. Of course the best solution would be...

TPMS disable / delete on Model S 2012 to late 2014 "Baolong"

There's valuable information in for instance this thread and especially this summarized thread, on the Roadster side and this old post on the Model S side that brought me to this forum thanks to its google search hit, although I had registered the account earlier. @scotty2541 has basically done...

    Bypassing the TPMS

Ok, I think I'll still proceed with making the mock-TPMS. I know people who have similar annoying issues of not knowing what the car complains about with the Continental system as well. I also made a new thread of this issue here, with a solution mostly researched by the Roadster people...

TPMS disable / delete on Model S 2012 to late 2014 "Baolong"

Hello, this is a topic about disabling TPMS or producing a fake signal to fake "always good" TPMS info on CANBUS. This is not a topic about US legal implications or legal implications in the other areas where TPMS is required by law, so please don't sidetrack this with that. At least Finland...

TPMS CONTINUES TO FAIL... [RANT] And they are gonna send people the mars?

Well, if it's an array of sorts, you refer to it as indexes, as in which slot they're in. If you count something, you also start at 0 when you have nothing, but don't say it, and then count 1 at the first finger, 2 at the second and so forth. They're just different things. In a building, the...

TPMS CONTINUES TO FAIL... [RANT] And they are gonna send people the mars?

Computer scientists do count like first, second, third and so forth like everyone else. Indexes are a different thing and there index 0 is the beginning.

TPMS CONTINUES TO FAIL... [RANT] And they are gonna send people the mars?

Shouldn't apply to us in countries that don't require TMPS, such as Canada, Sweden and Finland.

    Bypassing the TPMS

Any news on disabling the terrible TPMS system? Any info on the box? Something like a fake TPMS monitoring / receiver box comes to mind as a solution. I have the original Baolong system on my 2013 Model S. Since TPMS is not required by law in my country (Finland), I'd like rather to disable the...

    Root FAQ

They have the free recall thing for the eMMC though, and they upgrade the chip to 64GB as well. Regardless, what'd be a good forum to learn about rooting? I'm very familiar with Linux per se. Does it involve desoldering the eMMC and mounting it for changes on another device, or are there less...
